There’s some HUGE news to share with you today, so let’s get right to it!

The core cast will tape five shows for broadcast on ABC. Taping dates will be October 5-7. The episodes are scheduled to air the week of October 10-14.

In addition to the week’s worth of episodes, the cast will also be filming segments throughout Walt Disney World for broadcast during the duration of the Festival.
No word yet on whether any of the show’s hosts will be involved in any special events, like Cooking Demonstrations or Premium Parties. Last year, the cast appeared on stage during one of the Rockin’ Burger Block Parties.
But we’ve got even more great news!
A Chew Booth Returns for the 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
In 2015, the festival made history by expanding marketplace booths into Future World for the very first time with The Chew. The team at the popular show created menu items for two booths — Chew Lab and Sustainable Chew. And it looks like this year, they’ll be bringing their innovative ideas to the event once more!
So far, we know that THE CHEW Collective will once again be located in the Next Eats area of Future World. AND — we look forward to trying two new delicious dishes. In addition to return of the Ricotta and Zucchini Ravioli with Rustic Tomato Sauce, we will also enjoy Grilled Beef Skewer with Romaine, Apricots and Feta Cheese and Peanut Butter and White Chocolate Mousse with a Caramel Drizzle.
And Festival exclusive wines return once more and will be available at the booth as well!
We’re just getting started with what promises to be a ton of information coming your way in the next few weeks. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for all the latest!

Amy says
The Chew episodes will air the week before we go to the Festival! What great timing to get excited for our first trip to Food and Wine.
Melissa says
Last year I heard that emails were sent to pass holders for tickets to The Chew tapings at Epcot, is this true ?
Brooke says
Melissa — I’m a passholder, and I don’t recall receiving an email for tickets.
Angela says
So excited!! We missed them by one week last year! When & how can we secure tickets??
Jan from DE says
OMG, I’ll be there that week. That is so exciting. I really would like to be at their show. The Chew is so much fun to watch & very entertaining? Can’t wait.
Karen Skeens says
Omg. I am sooooooo excited!!! Can’t wait. You have to apply for tickets. No emails are sent out. It’s a lottery by abc tv
mealtrip says
Hey Melissa – Tickets to the Chew filming dates at Epcot (lat year anyway) were available through the Chew’s normal ticket page (and went fast soon after they were available)…
http://abc.go.com/shows/the-chew/news/Food-News/get-tickets-to-see-the-chew-live
… that page has not yet been updated with any info or dates about Epcot taping for 2016… but it’s a good place to keep checking.
Passholders/DVC/Disney Visa/TiW didn’t receive any special treatment because it’s sort of ABC’s deal, that just so happens to be inside a Disney park… and not really a Disney “entertainment / show” offering.
Janet pencek says
My husband and I will be in Disney celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and would love to see a taping of The Chew before we head home to Pennsylvania!! We head back on October 6th but hopefully can catch them on the 5th. So excited to be down in Disney during the Food and Wine Fest!!
Brooke says
Angela — See mealtrip’s very informative info. 😀
Jess says
This is exciting news! I just wish that they offered that chocolate dessert they had last year. I can’t recall it at the moment but it was something in liquid nitrogen I believe. Looking forward to this booth and the festival and I will be there the days they are the taping! 🙂
Sharon Sadilek says
Last year I tried for tickets and wasn’t able to get any. I am also a pass holder and we weren’t given or asked if we wanted taping tickets.
Maybe this year I will get lucky to get taping tickets.
Brooke says
Jess — The Liquid Nitro Chocolate Almond Truffle with Warm Whiskey Caramel was one of our favorites, too!
Jo says
I was able to attend The Chew taping as a standby guest. Had to wait 2 hours in line but so worth it!
Karen says
How do I get tickets for a taping of The Chew??
David Bornes says
My wife and I are VERY big fans of The Chew and (especially for me being from the Cleveland, OH area) of Michael Symon. We are are planning a trip to Disney for my wife’s birthday and I would like to get tickets for the taping. We are annual passholders. Hopefully, this can be a great birthday surprise for her!
Brooke says
Karen — Last year, they were available via The Chew’s website. We’ll update ticket information as soon as we have it. Best of luck!
Liz says
I was able to get tickets to the taping, group A. Is there anyone who attended last year that could tell me what Group A means and what to expect?
Phyllis Loveridge says
I was watching the Chew today and the hosts stated that someone can win tickets to the taping of the show from Epcot Food and Wine Festival in Walt Disney World Orlando Florida. They said to go to their web page to enter to win. I went to the web page and there is no mention of this contest. Could someone please let me know how I an enter this contest. My husband and I have been to the Wine and Food Festival many times and would love win tickets to the taping.
Thank you,
Phyllis
