Doesn’t think his make my TIW card pointless?
Michelle R Shoemaker says
Well, that is a day late and a dollar short for me. Just retuened from a 9 day vacation at WDW! Could have used the merchandise discount, as well as the additional 10% off at Flying Fish!!!
Kelly says
BEST NEWS I’ve seen in a LONG time! Thank you Walt Disney World! Perfect timing too as I’ll be visiting again in just a couple weeks!
Jennifer says
Laura, I was wondering about that too, but if adult beverages are important to you, TiW card discounts that at the participating restaurants. This discount doesn’t. And I think the TiW has more restaurants.
Paula says
If I have an AP Voucher and I redeem it during that time period will I get the 13 months? I obtained the vouchers in July/August so we could make FP+ reservations.
Suzy says
I’m going restaurant by restaurant throughout all of Disney World to compare. When I first read this today I was very upset because I JUST bought our Tables in Wonderland membership and felt like $150 just went down the drain. I’m doing a comparison carefully and not freaking out now because as someone pointed it, there are differences.
I will definitely think twice about purchasing it in the future, especially if there might be a discount available somewhere else (and a lot less expensive!)
Julie says
Paula, I was wondering the same thing. We will be redeeming the voucher the 11th of October.
Mark says
We dropped Tables in Wonderland last year when parking was added to all Annual Passes. Saved us some money and looks like an even better call now. Thanks, Disney, we’ll be taking advantage of this. Been too long since we visited Sanaa.
Laura, pretty much yes until next October.
Gabrielle says
Does the extra month apply to renewals during this time frame right now?
Mark says
A renewal is not a new pass and we do get a 15% discount to renew. This is not SeaWorld, which offered us 20% off and 3 free months to renew thus year.
LouisianaMike says
Great news!!! We just bought our AP’s, so that’s great…
Question: Since we only have a voucher (purchased thru Shades of Green) for the AP right now, will the activate date (03 Nov 2016), be considered the purchase date to get the extra month? That would be a big deal for us since we can plan our 2017 F&W festival trip accordingly. Thanks!
Mike
Paul says
Is the extra month from the day of purchase or the day of activation if you purchase a voucher only?
Carole Jordan says
Does anyone know whether black out dates will apply to the food discounts? We are going over the holidays, so it would be nice if there are no black out dates.
Eean says
Paul, I was going to ask the same question. I just bought my AP 3 weeks ago but won’t activate it until Feb. Hope someone knows the answer! Glad about the 20% food discounts though!
Michele says
I thought that the discount was only during lunch dining?? So will I get the 20 % discount during dinner dining?
Stephanie says
For those asking about activating an annual pass and getting the extra month:
We purchased our annual pass renewal vouchers in March 2016 and activated them this month, October 2016. We received the extra month! Instead of our AP’s expiring in March 2017, they now expire in April 2017 (hope this helps!)
