It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! And it’s DOUBLY so if you’ve booked your tickets (like I just did!!!!) for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
This party is TOPS for ushering in your holiday celebration. It’s not Christmas until we’ve experienced snow on Main Street and watched the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade — complete with Santa himself!
And you can’t forget the dazzling lights that turn Cinderella Castle into one of the most beautiful spectacles of the season.
But enjoying all of the special events, dance parties, and meet and greets means that you have to keep up your strength! 😉 Fortunately, there are plenty of snacks to help you do just that.
In years past, guests at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party have enjoyed complimentary Hot Chocolate and Snickerdoodles.
This year, we’re so excited to report that the list of freebie treats has expanded and is way more interesting! Check out your options:
Indulge in a Classic Hot Chocolate and Snickerdoodle Cookie combo at Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland.
OR you can try some NEW options! The Eggnog and Gingersnap Molasses Cookie at Heritage House in Liberty Square sounds wonderful. And I LOVE the nod to Florida in this next combo: indulge in a Snow Cone and Snowman Sugar Cookie from Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland!
And I’m an apple lover at heart, so the Spiced Apple Cider and Snowman Sugar Cookie at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus is the perfect treat.
But wait — do you love a Chocolate Mint Combo? Then head over to The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland and pick up your Hot Chocolate and Peppermint Bark Cookie!
We also fully expect the return of alternative treats for guests with food sensitivities. In the past, Gluten Free Cookies, Apple Slices, and Juice have also been available.
But in addition to the complimentary goodies, guests can also indulge in some Party Exclusive Treats.
Main Street Bakery will offer two Party Cupcakes. The Peppermint Cupcake features Chocolate Cake and Peppermint Frosting, done up in a twist of colors. So pretty!
The Holiday Wish Cupcake will offer Vanilla Cake and Buttercream in blue hues. I love this one too!
The Holiday Tree Cupcake — one of our favorites — returns to Gaston’s Tavern as well. We love the spicy cake and super cute presentation on this one!
If you love Disney’s humongous Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches like I do, then you’ll want to check out the special holiday version at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, made with holiday-sprinkles-bedecked Sugar Cookies!
And yay! We didn’t see it for Mickey’s Not So Scary, but the Pumpkin Spice Waffle with Vanilla Ice Cream returns once again for MVMCP!! Find it at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments.
Other treats include a Very Merry Strawberry Lemonade Slush (complete with a Mickey straw) at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café.

Has anyone seen the recipe for the Gingersnap Molasses Cookie that they were giving out at liberty square out on the internet anywhere? I really wish I had thought to ask when we were there.
