So, we showed you a little something special during our most recent tour around Disney World…
…and it’s taken the DFB team by storm!! Two of our team members have made it a priority to purchase this one!
Our Disneyland Correspondent, Heather Sievers, spotted it…and totally bought it…in Disneyland, recently! I know it LOOKS like it’s a simple tree tin featuring pictures of the new Storybook Plush Character Ornaments that can be found at Disney merchandise spots at the moment. BUT!
It’s also MUSICAL. AND it rotates!
Better yet? It’s filled with thirteen individually wrapped Shortbread Cookie Rounds (those yummy Walker kind — each individual pack contains two cookies…so you get 26 cookies).
The price is $35.99, and Heather (who has been enjoying hers immensely!) assures that it’s very well made, so she anticipates that the sturdy little tree will be part of her decorations LONG after the cookies are gone ;).
If you’re interested in getting one for yourself or as a gift for a fellow Disney fan, keep an eye out at merchandise locations around Disney World AND Disneyland (your best bet might be the larger stores such as World of Disney on either coast or Epcot’s Mouse Gear and the like). Happy Shopping!
What do you think of the Shortbread Tree Tin? Please let us know with a comment!
Martha says
Whoa! That looks like a necessary addition to my Christmas stash. What music does it play?
Lynne says
Yeah, so what is the tune it plays?

Or you could just search for it on the Shop Disney Parks app, where you will find that it is available at almost all the stores at WDW. 🙂

It plays Jingke Bells!
Heather says
That should read Jingle. I got too excited.
Essie says
Heather, jingke looks okay. I just thought you were typing it the way it would look in the World of Frozen! lol
Mike N. says
I feel like there needs to be a video of this, please upload one, this isn’t 1999 anymore, we have the technology!
SJB says
Love it but can’t find it anywhere online. Any website suggestions?

I found mine at a shop in the Grand Floridian at Disney World. My husband ate the cookies quickly. 🙂 It was one of 2 and the music box in the other was not working. If you find one, be sure to try the music box before you buy it.
