The Epcot International Festival of the Arts made its debut in January 2017! Running Fridays through Mondays from January 13 – February 20, 2017, the Festival focuses on three artistic disciplines: Visual, Culinary, and Performing Arts.
This brand new Festival features different events each weekend, so be sure to pick up a Festival of the Arts Passport for details during your specific visit. (And scroll down to the bottom of this page to see the complete Passport from the Festival’s first weekend to check out the kind of offerings that are in store!)

Food Studios
The Festival of the Arts will feature Food Studios located around Epcot’s World Showcase!

Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Packages
The Disney on Broadway Concert Series will feature Broadway talent performing Disney classics at the America Gardens Theatre! Performances will take place at 5:30 pm, 6:45 pm, and 8:00 pm on Festival evenings.
Dining Packages are available to pair breakfast, lunch or dinner (either a three-course meal or full buffet, based on location) at a participating Epcot restaurant with priority seating for the 8:00 pm show on the same date.

The Festival offers guests the opportunity to explore the Arts themselves through Complimentary Seminars and Quick Study Sessions as well as extra-ticketed Interactive and Premium Workshops.
Complimentary Seminars
Complimentary Seminars are available from 1:30 – 2:00 pm and 4:30 – 5:00 pm in the Odyssey Festival Showplace on Festival dates, with admission on a first-come, first-served basis. Topics range from Ink & Paint and Animated Films to Theme Parks, to Artisan Spice Blends and Tea Discovery, and beyond. Refer to your Festival Passport for complete offerings for your weekend visit.
Quick Study Sessions
The Japan Pavilion will host complimentary Quick Study Sessions on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 4:45 pm, and 5:00 pm. Topics include Calligraphy, Anime Drawing, and Orgami, among others. Refer to your Festival Passports for complete offerings for your weekend visit.

Premium Workshops will be offered on Friday, January 27th and Friday, February 17th from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm in the Odyssey Events Pavilion. The topic is Painting with a Disney Artist, and guests will get to paint under the instruction of a Disney artist. The $259 fee includes a bagged breakfast, and Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members are eligible for a 15% discount. The experience is bookable by calling (407) WDW-TOUR.
VISUAL ARTS
The Visual Arts will be celebrated throughout Epcot in a myriad of Exhibits, Seminars, and hands-on experiences, along with a few more artistic touches along the way! Be sure to pick up and refer to the Festival of the Arts Passport at Epcot during your specific visit, as each weekend will offer new experiences.
The Artwork of Mary Blair, Herb Ryman, and contemporary Disney artists will be featured in the Odyssey Festival Showplace.
Pavilions around Epcot will showcase displays and galleries reflecting various themes. For instance, guests can learn about Japan’s “kawaii,” or “cute culture” at the Bijutsu-kan Gallery in Japan, or check out the Walking Chalk Gallery — where artists will recreate famous art pieces — in World Showcase.
Complimentary Seminars will be presented by Disney artists and illustrators. (There are also additional Interactive Workshops, as listed above on this page, bookable for an additional fee. Several of the Workshops focus on the Visual Arts).

See — and hear! — the tops in area talent at the Community Arts Showcase at the Future World Fountain Stage and Plaza, which will feature a wide variety of choirs, marching bands, and more groups local to Central Florida. An a capella pop group, American Music Machine, will be part of the lineup as well.

Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt
Are you bringing a little budding artist to the Festival of the Arts? Children (and adults!) will be able to search for Figment by following clues provided through paintings strategically located around World Showcase. Visit Pin Central, Disney Traders, or World Traveler to purchase a map and begin your search. Upon completing your scavenger hunt, head to Disney Traders with your completed map and receive your surprise!
Animation Academy
Disney artists will be leading drawing classes — check your Event Guide for more information!
Interactive Wall Mural
You’ll find the Interactive Wall Mural at World Showcase Plaza where you can watch Disney artists create masterpieces live. You may even want to make your own mark!
