We’re back today with another DFB YouTube Video! Today, we’re taking a walk on the wild side with a trip to one of our favorite Disney watering holes — Dawa Bar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Sometimes, you just need a cold one, and this is one of our favorite places to get it!
Dawa Bar, located adjacent to Tusker House in Animal Kingdom’s Africa, is the perfect spot to chill and indulge. With its primo spot in the middle of the bustling town square, it’s a great place for people watching, or taking in a performance of the Tam Tam Drummers!
There are some great drinks to choose from as well. Check out the video to see which ones we tried during our most recent visit!

I have a huge question!!!! In October of 2015, we missed our chance to get a tasty Bloody Mary at Dawa Bar (we showed up too late). In October of 2016, they were just doing boring Bloody Mary’s, so we skipped it. I see three fun ones back on their menu, and we are coming back.
Basically….when do they stop serving Bloody Mary’s? This is an emergency haha
Richel — I understand the importance of a great Bloody Mary, so I took your question to our staff of park experts! 😀 We asked about the specialty drinks, and we were told that they basically served them until their house made mix runs out for the day. With that in mind, I’d advise you to get there early on one of your park days so that you don’t miss out. Also, we discovered the Stowaway Mary recently at Epcot’s Refreshment Port — topped with Blue Cheese-stuffed Olives, and Chicken Nuggets! No telling how long it will stick around, but you might wanna check it out!
