It’s official! The Planet Hollywood Observatory is now open in Disney Springs!
Stop by the West Side to see the space that was formerly Planet Hollywood in its transformed state as a “four-story stargazing observatory,” and taste the new creations on the menu, including the burger and sandwich menu created by celebrity chef Guy Fieri (or indulge in one of the Planet Hollywood classics that are still on the list).
The spot is in operation for lunch and dinner daily, from 11:00 am – 12:00 am. However, the new Stargazers Lounge is yet to come — look for it to open soon. In these opening days, the location is taking walk-up guests, and Advance Dining Reservations are available to book for dates beginning February 1st via the Disney World website.
We’re looking forward to checking it all out ourselves and sharing it with you here on the DFB soon!
Will you be dining at the Planet Hollywood Observatory? Please let us know with a comment!

I don’t know if it’s me, but I have been trying to book via the website & it doesn’t work. It doesn’t even show up online, just mobile.

“formerly Planet Hollywood in its transformed state as a “four-story stargazing observatory,”
“Star Gazing” observatory is meant to be a pun. “Stars” are on the video monitors and the memorabilia on the walls, and not stellar constellations.

But does it accept dining plan?
Brooke says
John — Currently, they’re list as not accepting DDP, but when we were there, they asked if we were using the DDP, so I would say yes. Double check when you make your advance dining reservations to be sure, though.
