The Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room in Epcot’s United Kingdom Pavilion is an authentic English pub that just happens to be in Central Florida. And, it’s one of our favorite spots to grab a pint and a bite to eat!
You’ll find a hearty menu full of British favorites including cottage pie, fish and chips, and some of the best pints around. And now a new traditional favorite on the menu – Sunday Roast!
The Sunday Roast is a traditional British meal featuring roasted meat, potatoes, vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. A few years ago Raglan Road Irish Pub in Disney Springs started offering a similar meal – ‘Host the Roast’ – which was created to honor the traditional Sunday Irish lunch.
Raglan Road’s Host the Roast featured Roast Rib of Beef, Roasted Pork Loin, Roasted Leg of New Zealand Lamb, or Roasted Lemon Thyme Chicken served with traditional sides.
The Sunday Roast at the Rose and Crown will alternate weekly between Roasted Pork, Roasted Turkey, or Lamb with Mint Sauce with traditional sides including roasted potatoes, peas and carrots, sage and onion stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, and gravy. And, it’s only served on Sundays.
Reservations for the Sunday Roast at the Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room are available online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Is this still a single table service meal?

OK, I’ll be the Brit who wades in to comment on this….Lamb, yes, but I can’t believe they’re not using the most common meat for a Sunday roast – BEEF! It’s what yorkshire puddings were invented for!

As I fellow Brit, I agree with Frankie that roast beef is the most traditional roast dinner offering (and my favourite), I would say that beef, in one form or another, is the most readily-available meat in all the restaurants in WDW so it’s nice to see different offerings. My ‘beef’ is that it’s only available on Sundays, every day’s a Sunday when on holiday!

Beef is traditional, but the roast turkey is very tempting, and this establishment is on my list for my next trip. With a hard apple cider, of course!
jodevil says
Yup another one here for Roast Beef with Yorkshire Puddings. Sage and Onion stuffing is for Chicken so Turkey will do! but what are those red things? I am guessing they are the Roast Potatoes but they look like nothing I have even seen on Sunday Dinner!! I know this is a hard one to get right as the so called traditional Sunday Lunch, as it differs from place to place and even family to family.

How do we know which week is which meat because I particularly want the roast lamb
Ian says
That’s my Sunday in September sorted. English Premier League at the ESPN Club, followed by a couple of circuits around Food & Wine, followed by a roast at the Rose & Crown and no doubt a few Strongbows or Angry Orchards to wash it all down! Happy days.
