We are anxiously awaiting word on the opening date for Choza de Margarita in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion!
Originally announced as Choza Tequila, this upcoming outdoor tequileria and margarita bar will also serve tacos, empanadas, chips, and fresh guacamole.
Though we are still looking forward to information on when this spot will be open for thirsty passersby in World Showcase (it was originally slated for early 2017), we do have some intel regarding something VERY important.
MARGARITAS.
Thanks to the La Cava del Tequila Twitter account AND the new Choza de Margarita Twitter account, we’ve been able to sneak a peek at a few of the offerings on the way.
We’ll start with the Lime Cucumber Margarita made with Tequila Avión.
The Fresa Salvaje Margarita will be made with strawberry and prickly pear purees.
Oh, and tequila 😉 .
So far, I think I’m most intrigued by the Guava Pink Peppercorn Margarita, to be made with Zignum Mezcal Reposado.
It’s likely that the Passion Mango Frozen Margarita will be a crowd pleaser.
Our last sneak peek is the Acan Margarita made with Casa Noble Tequila Blanco.
Which one are you going to try first 🙂 ?
Are you excited for the arrival of Choza de Margarita? Please let us know with a comment!

Yes I will miss my frozen one too and I bet these will be much more expensive. I am anxious to try the Mango frozen one. They do all sound good….I will be there in October and so I plab to have one.

I sure hope they open soon! I love a Cava Del margarita but the lines can be soooo long (although the avocado is worth it) Another option is definitely needed.

I, too, miss the fiesta margs. I enjoy the La Cava margs, but there was something about those pretty layers. I really miss that stand. . .”the most popular attraction in WS”, according to the boat captains.

The guava one sounds like the special they had during Food and Wine last year. It was tasty!

I will give it a try! I too miss the frozen layered Fiesta Margaritas! I would always get one right before I we get seated for illuminations… I agree these will most likely be fabulous, but much more expensive. I am looking forward to the empanadas though. I am going to try the frozen Mango! Looks yummy!
We are going to be here in October so I am sure it will be open by then…
