Hey Guys! We’re back with another DFB Video today, and we’re getting down to the serious business of Be Our Guest Restaurant!
Located in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Be Our Guest took Disney fans by storm when it opened five years ago. The restaurant, part of the New Fantasyland expansion, morphs from a counter service spot during breakfast and lunch to a table service dining spot for dinner.
We’ve got all the tips, tricks, and secrets for dining here. And we even have an opinion on whether or not it’s worth the hype. Wanna know more? Then check out our video, Disney World’s Be Our Guest Restaurant — Is It Worth It?

If you get a reservation during the lunch hours, can you just order dessert to experience the the rooms? I’m not really interested in the meals they offer.
Brooke says
Lauren — Yep. You can order anything you’d like. 😀

I’ve been to BOG for breakfast once and for lunch many, many times. I agree that breakfast was only worth it when we were one the DDP and we were able to get in before the park was open. My daughters really didn’t like the food at breakfast but loved getting on Mine Train before the crowds. We enjoyed the food at lunch and appreciated that we would have a reservation to sit for a midday meal with less jostling for a table while carrying trays of food. We still try to make ADRs for BOG but it’s not the priority it used to be for my family.

I went on a soft opening and we loved the place! The entire meal was such an amazing, fun and enchanting experience. I had the carved turkey sandwich as my lunch, but sadly it doesn’t look like that delicious option is on the menu anymore!?!?
Courtney says
Essie, it looks like the carved turkey sandwich is still on the lunch menu. I was a little worried, that is my favorite item also so I would be sad if it was gone!

I have had lunch at Be Our Guest in 2013. My boyfriend had the tuna narcoose salad and loved it. I had the croche monsier sandwich. The bechamel sauce make this ham and cheese sandwich. The nutmeg in this sauce wins the day. I also had the french onion soup and it is spot on. I had the lemon meringue cupcake.

Be Our Guest is always a stop for my family whenever we go to Disney World; we love it! Dinner is awesome and the Shrimp and Scallop dish is worth it, in my opinion. And the interaction with the beast is always a highlight of our trip. My husband still talks about it, and we went in March! I always recommend lunch or dinner to people going to Disney. It’s worth it to at least go once and make your own decision.

I for one, really like this restaurant! Granted, it can be noisy, but the braised pork at lunch is one of the best meals I’ve had on property. I don’t have any interest in breakfast or dinner there, but will always make it a point to go for lunch. I love the option to pre-order your meal too.
Hannah says
I totally agree with Jamie….lunch is really worth the money. My husband and I split the Braised Pork, a favorite, and we share the French Onion Soup. It’s a great meal. Would never pay the prices for breakfast and wouldn’t spend almost twice as much at dinner for what we can get at lunch.

Another great video, and having eaten at Be Our Guest for breakfast, lunch and dinner I totally agree with Joey that lunch is definitely the best choice. The braised pork is one of my absolute favorite meals in DisneyWorld, though my family prefer the croque monsieur. We also found the West Wing to be a bit too dark, particularly at breakfast. The steak at dinner is good and you should try and do dinner at least once in order to meet the Beast – but we are sticking with lunch for our next trip in September – and trying Cinderella’s Royal Table for dinner instead!
