Update on Saturday, July 15:
— We are LIVE again today for a second Epcot Food and Wine Festival Preview Event, and we’re updating this post with even more NEW Food Photos! Photos include dishes from brand new booths as well as super exciting updates to old favorites, like Ireland. Scroll through to see the very latest!
We’re LIVE today from Walt Disney World with some new details for the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
Earlier this week, we shared the full list of Booths and Menus, Special Events, and Booking Dates.
Since then, we’ve been gathering additional information about early booking opportunities and just who can call when. 🙂
Today, Disney has filled in a few more of the gaps.
Let’s go!
2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Booth and Menu Details, and NEW Food Photos
This year, we’re excited to see five brand new booths: Active Eats, The Almond Orchard, Coastal Eats, Light Lab, and Flavors From Fire!
Returning after a period away from the booth lineup, we welcome back Spain, India, Thailand, and The Cheese Studio. That means there are more booths than ever this year — 35 to mark the 35 years of Epcot.
But of course, this means that we have to say goodbye to a few to make room. Gone from the booth line-up in 2017 are the Desserts and Champagne, Poland, and South Korea booths.
As always, you can visit our Epcot Food and Wine Festival Menu Index page for ALL the menus and links to individual booth pages showing food photos. We’ll be updating these pages throughout the festival with photos of every single food item!
But today, we’re sharing MENU and BOOTH Details as well as FOOD PHOTOS from both World Showcase and Future World booths! Start Your Planning NOW!

Stay tuned to the DFB YouTube Channel for our thoughts on the items below — and other Food and Wine Festival sneak peeks — early next week!
Active Eats — NEW to the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
Let’s start with dessert! The Active Eats Booth offers guests foods that will keep them going all day! We are so excited to try the Sweet Avocado Crema with Strawberries, Yellow Cake, and Tortilla Streusel!
Almond Orchard — NEW to the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
Almond Orchard, sponsored by Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, features a Banana Almond Sundae layered with Fresh Berries and topped with Dark Chocolate and Blueberry Almonds. We’re looking forward to pairing with the booth’s selections of Champagnes or a cold brew coffee with Almond Milk Foam.
Coastal Eats — NEW to the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
The new Coastal Eats Booth will emphasize fresh seafood. Here’s a first look, including Seared Scallops with Roasted Corn and Butterbean Succotash and Chili-Chipotle Butter Sauce.
Flavors from Fire — NEW to the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
The Flavors from Fire Booth features spicy foods and dishes touched by Fire. This area also promises to be a beautiful destination, so plan to spend some quality time here. In the meantime, let’s dig into the Smoked Corned Beef with Crispy Potatoes, Pickled Onions, and Blonde Ale Beer Fondue.
The booth also offers a Sweet Pancake with Spicy Chipotle Chicken Sausage, Onion Jam, and Maple Butter Syrup. That is some incredible flavor combining there.
But save room for dessert, and be sure to try the Chocolate Picante: Dark Chocolate Mousse with Cayenne Pepper, Chili Powder, and Raspberry Dust.
Light Lab — NEW to the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
Light Lab is another brand new offering that you’ll find in Future World — and it’s indoors!! So it’s gonna be an awesome way to beat the heat. Today, we’re getting our first taste — the T=C2: Vanilla Tonic Water and Cotton Candy.
(FYI — everything from this booth GLOWS! So be prepared for black lights ;-D)
Light Lab also offers guests a refreshing, non-alcoholic RGB: Citrus Apple Freeze.
Earth Eats — (Kinda) NEW to the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
Earth Eats will be the booth that celebrates ABC’s The Chew at this year’s festival. While the food items released so far are all returning dishes, we’re excited to try a refreshing new beverage — Redstone Meadery Black Raspberry Mead.
India — NEWLY Returning to the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
India returns with a slate of exotic flavors. Today, we’re sharing a first look at the menu with Madras Red Curry with Roasted Cauliflower, Baby Carrots, Chickpeas, and Basmati Rice.
The India Booth will also feature Indian Wines, including Sula Chenin Blanc and Sula Shiraz. It’s a great opportunity for wine lovers to explore a region that might be completely new to them.
Spain — NEWLY Returning to the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
Spain offers regional delicacies that celebrate the rich flavors of the country. A great stroll and eat starter will be the Charcuterie in a Cone with Spanish Meats, Cheeses, and Olives, finished with an Herb Vinaigrette.
Guests will also enjoy a fresh Seafood Salad with Shrimp, Bay Scallops, and Mussels, dressed with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, White Balsamic Vinegar, and Smoked Paprika.
There’s also a sweet ending with Sweet Olive Oil Cake, accompanied by Lemon Curd. This is one of our favorite dishes that we’ve tried over the last couple of days. We love the not-super-sweet cake paired with the rich, tangy flavor of the lemon curd.
Thailand — NEWLY Returning to the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
At the returning Thailand booth, you’ll find Red Hot Spicy Thai Curry Beef with Steamed Rice! This spicy dish is one of our favorite new dishes so far.
Cheese Studio — NEWLY Returning to the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
The returning Cheese Studio is hosted by Boursin this year. Starting our experience with the Cheese Trio was a great way to begin today. It features a savory Profiterole topped with Boursin and Orange Apricot Jam; Smoked Salmon Pinwheel with Boursin Shallot and Chive Cheese and Everything Seasoning; and a Strawberry Macaron with Boursin Pepper Cheese. (And yep — Disney’s calling it a Macaroon. Stay tuned to see if they update the spelling to Macaron.)
We also have some delicious new dishes and sips at some of the long time favorite booths. Let’s take a look at some of what you can enjoy at the festival this year.
Africa
Africa has some great new and returning eats this year. We love the vegetarian Spinach and Paneer Cheese Pocket that makes a comeback in 2017, and we’re excited to try the Spicy Ethiopian Red Lentil Stew with Vegan Yogurt and Quinoa.
Brewer’s Collection
It wouldn’t be the Food and Wine Festival without…beer! And there are always some fantastic options at Brewer’s Collection, located adjacent to the Germany Booth. This year, the booth brings a Festival Exclusive from the hugely popular house of Schofferhofer, makers of the Grapefruit Beer we all know and love. Check out Schofferhofer Hefeweizen Pomegranate Beer. Again — it’s a Festival Exclusive — and one of our must have picks for new things to try in 2017!
Craft Beer
We’re excited to see Craft Beer back once more as well, and we’re psyched that you can again enjoy your brew within the comfort of the Odyssey Building (yay for a/c!). There’s always a great selection of local craft beers, and this year is no exception, with the Florida Beer Company Passport 35 Triple Chocolate Milk Stout.
New Zealand
New Zealand offers a new drink to refresh you during your travels — a Frozen Wine Cocktail featuring Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. It will be a great match to some of the spicier dishes.
Hawai’i
Hawai’i has been a favorite of ours since it debuted, and we’re so glad the Kalua Pork Slider returns this year. Joining it is a brand new dish — the Teriyaki-glazed SPAM Hash with Potatoes, Peppers and Onions, and Spicy Mayonnaise! So excited to dig into Hawaii’s infamous canned ham.
Ireland
Ireland is always on the DFB List of Recommended Stops, but this year they are BRINGING IT with two new dishes. Today, we’re trying the Warm Irish Cheddar Cheese and Stout Dip with Irish Brown Bread, and GUYS — this is Omg-you-must-get-this-amazeballs-GOOD.
So… how do you think 2017 is shaping up??
New! Expanded Family Friendly Festival Offerings
This year more than ever before, Epcot emphasizes that the Food and Wine Festival is fun for ALL ages — including kids! Look for an expanded offering of kid- and family-friendly attractions, foods, and activities. There’s more to come, but here’s what we know so far!
Light Lab: In addition to fun drinks that light up, Light Lab will also feature merchandise and a fun area that families and kids will want to explore!
Remy’s Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt: The popular scavenger hunt is back in 2017 and expands with three new stops, all in Future World! It’s fun for the whole family as you spend your day exploring the Booths and all the festival has to offer.
Festival Center: Arguably the heart of the festival and the perfect place to start your day, the Festival Center will offer additional kid-centric activities and expanded programming.
Look for the Smiling Strawberry: Throughout this year’s Festival Passport, look for a new icon — the Smiling Strawberry — to indicate kid-friendly food and activities.
Festival Merchandise
There’s some seriously fun merchandise coming this year! And there’s something for every budget.
Dooney and Bourke fans can expect some super cool bags just in time for Food and Wine, featuring Chef Figment!
We love that they’re offering a choice between a dark blue or a white background. And the little leather luggage tags are such a neat detail.
There are several sizes to choose from, so whether you carry it all or carry almost nothing, there’s a D&B for you!
And Dooney fans can now add a Dooney and Bourke Food and Wine Festival exclusive MagicBand to their stash.
But I’ll confess: I’m way more psyched about adding these Food and Wine Festival Trash Can Salt and Pepper Shakers to my collection.
Have you ever wanted to open your beer with your ballcap? No? Well, no matter: now you can — Food and Wine Style! And also note that the Brews Around the World merch has received a refresh once again.
Epcot Food and Wine Festival Early Booking and Discount Details
Are you ready for booking details for the Food and Wine Festival Special Events — including confirmed booking information?!
Schedules for the 2017 Culinary Demonstrations, Beverage Seminars, and Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It! Hand On Workshops will be released next week. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog and the DFB Newsletter! We’ll share the info as soon as we have it!
But here’s the big news. While the general public can book events for the Food and Wine Festival starting on July 20th at 7AM ET, Annual Passholders, Golden Oak Residents, Tables in Wonderland Members, and DVC members will be able to book ALL events starting on July 18th at 9AM ET.
Yep. Early Booking on the 18th includes ALL EVENTS.
This is in contrast to being able only to book low-cost events and Party for the Senses in previous years. Also, it’s now confirmed that $2 discounts will be offered for seminars and demonstrations only, Monday through Thursday only, for Annual Passholders, Tables in Wonderland members, Golden Oak Residents, and DVC members. The discounts are per person per event.
Booking for all other events, and for the general public, will begin Thursday, July 20 at 7:00AM ET (please note: everything is subject to change). Call 407-WDW-FEST to book. ALL booking for VIP events and tickets (e.g. premium levels at the Party for the Senses) in previous years had to be booked by phone. Booking for seminars, demos, and some special events will be available at epcotfoodfestival.com.
For all of the details about higher priced Special Events, including the full schedule, head over to our Special Events Page.
For more information on what we know about Seminars, Demonstrations, and Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It Hands On Workshops, see our Low-Cost Events Page.
Chase Is No Longer Sponsoring The Food and Wine Festival
We have confirmation today that Chase is no longer the festival’s sponsor, so Chase Cardmembers will not receive early booking privileges, and there will be no special Chase Cardmember-exclusive events. Also, it looks like the Chase Lounge will not be returning to the festival this year (sadface for no free soft drinks or a/c or phone charging!).
Party for the Senses Updates
Party for the Senses receives a new focus, and for the first time, all levels of tickets will enjoy guaranteed seating.
No more standing around with your plate and glass in your hand all night. Yay!
We’ve also confirmed that the Rockin’ Burger Block Party will not return. However, Disney has noted expanded entertainment — including a dance floor — during Party for the Senses.

All events! Woo-hoo! Great big °o° Grin!
Leslie says
Aw man. I just got a Chase Visa for the sole purpose of early booking. What a bummer.
Allison says
Will the 2017 Food & Wine guide be automatically sent to those who pre-ordered? I don’t think it has come by email yet.
Thanks for all you do!! So much great information!!
Debra Bauders says
When is the zchedules for the low cost seminars released
Brooke says
Debra — Sometime this upcoming week.
Brooke says
Allison — We’ve sent a first copy. I’ll have customer service confirm that yours was sent. Thank you so much!
Christina H. says
omg. that FIGMENT DOONEY BAG THOUGH!!! =) *fingers crossed* it will be available online because i won’t make it to WDW for the festival this year. =(
Dawn says
Awww! That Chase lounge was the best! Once they were doing free caricatures in one of the rooms and the guy was amazing!! I have it framed on our wall it’s so good. That same time we also were there during happy half hour which was so fun. I’ll miss it.
Mark says
Disney is cutting it very close on the culinary demo line-up. A bit of a backward step for them compared to the last few years.
Phyllis Knapp says
Can you purchase the “Figment loves the Epcot Food and Wine Festival” t-shirts online and at the festival??
Janet Rainer says
Does anyone know who I can contact concerning The Party of The Senses dates?? The dates have been the same since they started and this year they are not having the Party of The Senses the 4th weekend of October. Why?? Who sets up the dates and WHY did they change the dates??? PLEASE can anyone tell me who I can contact. The Party of The Senses is one of the best events and if they changed the dates this year what will the dates be in 2018?? PLEASE HELP
Karen says
I was really hoping to attend Party for the Senses on Oct 28 but I don’t see it scheduled for that date. Is there any reason why?
Brooke says
Karen — Unfortunately, Disney hasn’t really shared the rationale behind the dates they picked. I hope you can make it for another night. It’s an awesome event for sure.
Brooke says
Janet — Disney didn’t provide any information on why the chose these dates, but they did indicate that many of their decisions were based on “listening to guests.” You can try giving the Festival number a call. That number is 407 WDW-FEST (939-3378). Best of luck!
Brooke says
Phyllis — Disney hasn’t shared what will be available for sale online, unfortunately.
Mary says
Would you happen to know if there were any shirts left from the Arts Festival in January? If so where can I find them? Couldn’t find any XL shirts while we were at the festival. We have our shirts from Flower & Garden Fest. from April. We will be getting the Food & Wine Fest. shirts in November. Thank you for any info. you can provide.
Kim Schmidt says
I’m excited about the upcoming Food and Wine Festival, but sad that I will no longer have access to the awesome Chase Lounge. That was the BEST card perk EVER!
Brooke says
Mary — I’m not really sure. You might try Merchandise Guest Services, though. Their number is 1 877 560 6477.
Sharon says
Any idea when Disney usually posts the new Food & Wine Maps?
Struzenberg Michelle says
Hi ! I read elsewhere that the white Dooney Bag is an annual pass holder exclusive. Is that not true? Is it just another color option ? Also, do you know where this merchandise will be sold? I’m planning to drive up to Orlando the morning of August 31 to try and snag one of these bags !!
