Disney Vacation Club members and their friends have a whole new experience to look forward to now through October, as Disney kicked off a brand new DVC Beverage Tasting Series Thursday, July 27.
Top of the World Lounge
The series takes place in the Top of the World Lounge, located on the top floor of Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. (Take a photo tour of this exclusive space here.)
It’s a great way to learn more about your favorite beverages, or try something entirely new! And you can experience the panoramic views of Top of the World at the same time. We love this place, so getting to hang out there for an hour pretty much makes the experience Worth. It. 😀

Cost: $35 per person, including tax and gratuity

Each tasting session also includes small plate food pairings as well.

So the really cool thing is that this series is open to DVC Members and their guests. Party size is limited to four, however, which includes the member.
To book a seat in a Beverage Tasting Series, call Member Services at (800) 800-9800. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Cancellations may be made 48 hours in advance.

I just saw this and tried booking for 9-14 and it’s already sold out for that date.
Ahhhh! I would love to do this! Sadly our next visit to Disney won’t be till January.
Would love to get a report from anyone who attends the Mixology session. We arrive on 9/21 for my husband’s birthday trip and this might be a nice way to kick off the party!
Just wanted to add that I called DVC Member Services and was able to get a bit more information about the sessions. Unfortunately, the date I was hoping for is already sold out. Hopefully they’ll offer this again.
Would love to try the tasting series but will not be there until Oct 24. Extending the series would be great.
