It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
In case you had any doubt ;-D, Halloween is OVER, people! Which means — at Disney World, anyway — it’s time to take on the Holiday Season!
And 2017 is bringing a whole new seasonal celebration to Disney’s Hollywood Studios with Sunset Season’s Greetings! Beginning November 9th, Sunset Boulevard will host this all-new nightly celebration featuring snowfall and festive projections featuring Disney characters on the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
Moving billboards will also set the scene, and screens are already in place along Sunset Ranch Market, the Counter Service area, which includes Anaheim Produce, Fairfax Fare, and Hollywood Scoops.
Sunset’s eateries also include the seasonally open Sunshine Day Cafe. Though it’s closed at the moment, we anticipate it will reopen on November 9th and that, like last year, it will offer plenty of holiday goodies!
After all, being located right near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard as well, Sunshine Day Cafe is in the absolute perfect location to serve guests enjoying both the new Sunset Season’s Greetings AND the returning Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Nighttime Holiday Spectacular.
And at Echo Lake, decorations are in place as well!
Even though Echo Lake still needs a bit more water topper from its recent refurbishment 🙂 , the Christmas Tree already holds pride of place, surrounded by larger than life ornaments dotting the water.
Some of Santa’s favorite helpers are on the scene.
Even Gertie’s getting into the spirit!
I’m also loving these Christmas Tree-topped umbrellas providing shade in the area.
Also on Echo Lake, don’t forget that Minnie starts hosting her Holiday Dine at Hollywood and Vine on November 6th!
You can read all about this festive feast here.
So, the halls are definitely getting DECKED at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the other three Disney World Parks will not be far behind. Six days after the Epcot Food and Wine Festival wraps up, the Epcot Festival of the Holidays begins on November 19th. And Magic Kingdom is likewise dressing up for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which kicks off on November 9th. We’ll be there! As a matter of fact, we’ll be EVERYWHERE… so stay tuned for all the festive fun here on the DFB!
