Disney Springs: So many restaurants! So many seasonal treats! So much… construction. 😉
Let’s see what’s new this week!
Coming to Disney Springs
The building that was formerly Disney Quest is completely gone, leaving room for the construction of the NBA Experience! Here’s some NBA Experience concept art for those wanting a sneak peek of what’s to come. (I see a “Grill” in our future…)
The Edison is coming along nicely, with lettering now up on the stately brick tower.
There are also “Coming Soon” signs for Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante and Pizza Ponte.
Together with Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar, these restaurants will make up a trio of Italian eateries headed by the Patina Restaurant Group. Read all about it here!
Work at Wine Bar George is progressing as well.
However, surrounding signage now indicates a Spring 2018 opening (updated from their original Fall 2017 — then later Early 2018 — timeline).
We already told you about Breakfast with Santa at T-Rex — but we are happy to see it so brightly advertised.
Give the big guy some love… along with your Wish List!
Menu Updates
has added Spicy Kimchi Ramen, Ginger Chicken Ramen, and Nitro Tea to the street eats.
The BOATHOUSE has replaced its Cavatappi Pasta with Lobster by adding Baked Lobster Macaroni and Cheese.
Homecomin’ has removed the Fried Catfish Sandwich, Summer Salad, Hangar Steak, and Potato Salad side.
But they’ve added Cedar Key Salad, Braised Short Ribs, Turkey Meatloaf with Vidalia Ketchup, and a Grilled Succotash side.
Remember the awesome Disney Latte Art that you can get on certain drinks at Joffrey’s Tea Trader’s Cafe?
During the debut season of latte art, it cost nothing extra to Mickey up your coffee. But now it’s available for an additional fifty cents.
That’s still two quarters well spent, I’d say.
Have you heard the word that you can now get Donut Nuggets at D-Luxe Burger?
But that’s not our last stop at D-Luxe, because they’ve also got some seasonal treats that you might want to grab, too…
Seasonal Items
also has a Holiday Turkey Burger.
There’s also a Seasonal Peppermint Cookies and Cream milkshake on the menu, which sounds pretty awesome.
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar has a small seasonal menu that includes Turkey Spring Rolls.
Pair them with some of Jock’s Holiday Punch, while you’re at it!
Frontera Cocina also has a Holiday Menu.
It features a Horchata Margarita, walnut and pomegranate topped Guacamole, Pumpkin Spice Cuatro Leches, and Slow Roasted Pork Carnitas & Chorizo Red Chile Enchiladas.
Over at Wetzel’s Pretzels, you can add some Pumpkin Caramel Glaze to go with your pretzel.
And The Ganachery is practically overflowing with chocolate seasonal treats! Eggnog Ganache and Chocolate-covered Stollen return for the holidays.
And a Coco Chocolate Pop is available for fans of the beautiful new Pixar film, too!
It’s impossible to choose a favorite, so just go with one of each! 😉 And don’t forget: the Christmas Tree Trail is merrier than ever this year. So don’t forget Disney Springs when it comes to planning your Disney World holiday fun!
