Hey, you all! We’re back with another DFB Video today, and we’re discussing the Top 5 Disney World Resorts in terms of our favorite topic: FOOD!
When you think of food at Disney World, perhaps your mind goes to the parks first. Maybe iconic snacks like the Magic Kingdom’s Citrus Swirl come to mind, or fun and unique in-park dining experiences like Sci-Fi Dine In at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But I’m telling you, there is a LOT of terrific eating to do outside the parks in the Disney World Resorts, and we’re talking today about our top five Resorts in regards to dining experiences. And remember, thanks to Disney Transportation, you don’t need to be staying at a Resort to check out the restaurants or snacks at any given spot. So settle in, and enjoy our latest DFB Video to learn more!

I agree that AKL has the best food. But I will add, even though you really only talked about the experience of eating at Sanaa, the food there is top notch. The bread service alone is worth the price, but I’ve never had a less than excellent entree there either. And the service has always been exemplary. It is actually one of my favorite places to eat in all of WDW.

Totally agree with all your choices. All have great locations for meals/drinks for every time of day; breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bars. The bars all allow you to eat some of the favorites that the resorts other restaurants serve. And most counter service locations at these top deluxe resorts compare in quality to table service at most other resorts. I love outdoors type eateries, so Geyser Point at WL, taking my food from Gaspirilla at GF outside, and eating an amazing Aloha Pork Sandwich at Capt Cooks followed by a Dole Whip at P Lanai outside Poly with pool in background is my type of ambiance, only when its below 80 🙂

I try to stay at Saratoga Springs every time for one simple reason: walking distance to Disney Springs. Especially now with the redesign and conversion from the Market Place/Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island (moment of silence for the long lost Fireworks Factory, the Adventurers Club, and the Comedy Warehouse…) to Disney Springs, there are just SO. MANY. PLACES. to eat there. And honestly, all the walking to get to and from your room to the Springs is great for burning off all the extra calories. =p
Honestly though, I could eat the Saratoga Salad at The Artist’s Palette every day and be happy. That lemon poppy seed dressing *swoon*

Christina H. — This is such a good point. With the new-and-improved Disney Springs so close, it really does up SSR’s stock in my book.
