Ever since Mobile Order debuted last spring we’ve been waiting for the day when it was finally available with the Disney Disney Plan, and we’re excited to report that today is THE day!
Starting today, when the My Disney Experience app is updated, guests will be able to use their Disney Dining Plan credits to pay for Counter Service meals and snacks that they’ve ordered using Mobile Order!
Mobile Order allows guests to pre-order and pre-pay for their food via the My Disney Experience app at select restaurants at the Disney World theme parks and one restaurant – D-Luxe Burger – in Disney Springs. Guests can pick up their food upon arrival and bypass the queue at the restaurant.
Mobile Order can be used with the Quick Service Dining Plan, Standard Dining Plan, and the Deluxe Dining Plan. And, if guests don’t want to use their Disney Dining Plan credits when ordering via Mobile Order, they can still choose to pay with a credit card.
Check out our step-by-step instructions for using Mobile Order!
Currently Mobile Order is available at 23 Counter Service locations at the Disney Parks and Disney Springs.
Will you be using Mobile Order with your Disney Dining Plan? Let us know with a comment!

wonder how that will work for dvc stays since you cannot see the ddp on your mde when you are staying on points and add ddp
Jim says
No, we will not do mobile order. We do not use the dining plan and prefer not charging everything while there. Mobile ordering does not offer TIW purchases, despite several counter services spots offering the TIW discounts. We collect (or fill) gift cards between trips and thus have funds on hand, rather than adding to our credit card bill.
Lisa says
I hope we can use gift cards soon 😀

With a toddler, mobile ordering is great. We must have used it a dozen times our last trip. I agree there are some limitations, but the service itself is awesome

THIS IS MY EVERYTHING. I may have shed a silent tear in happiness at this news today.
Rachel says
Can you alter orders with mobile ordering, for instance leaving out a side, or do you have to order a dish as it appears on the menu?
Amy says
Oh, yay! I used mobile ordering while I was visiting in January and found it convenient, but I was not on the dining plan. I am planning a trip back in the fall where I will be on the dining plan, so it’s good to know I can use mobile ordering for convenience during busy times.
Denise says
Absolutley will use this the next 8 days. Why wouldnt anyone want to make the most of your valuable vacation time. Cuts down on wait times. Pure win for both Disney and the vacationers.
DFB Sarah says
Rachel, you can alter orders to an extent. Here’s a link showing our experience with Mobile Ordering at Satu’li, where you can see how sides and drinks are selected. Hope this helps!
Kim says
Loved using mobile ordering! Will use it ALOT more when annual Passholder discounts can be applied.
Cassandra says
I’ve been waiting for this…SO glad it’s finally here! Can’t wait to use this on our next trip!
Juliet says
Currently at WDW now and guests services has told me there is no way to use mobile ordering with the DDP. Was this discontinued? Am I doing something wrong? TIA
DFB Sarah says
Juliet, thanks for sharing. We’ll look into it.
Ashley says
Now that the DDP includes and alcoholic beverage as an option, can you pre-order a beer or wine using mobile ordering? Thanks in advance!
DFB Sarah says
Ashley: Yes, you can!
Kevin says
Can you use a quick service credit for an entree and then a snack in place of a beverage with DDP on mobile order?
Lindsey says
There is so much that comes with each ddp counter credit – drinks, dessert, etc. how do you know how much to order and make sure you make the most of your credit when mobile ordering? When I select an entree it offers a side…do I select that and also select a drink and dessert?
DFB Sarah says
Lindsey, quick service DDP meal credits include an entree (with included sides) and a drink (alcoholic or a specialty drink or a fountain drink). You’ll want so select both of those items and confirm the side that comes with the entree, too.
