Disney Springs
is chock full of new stuff this week — including new eats, new gear, and new construction updates! Let’s see what’s shakin’!
Menu Items and Eats
is ready for Valentine’s Day with two new seasonal flavors: Red Hot Velvet (red velvet cake with a cinnamon-y frosting) and Raspberry Chocolate Chip. One of each, please!
Sprinkles also has an I <3 U Mini Sampler so you can show your loved ones (or yo’self!) how you feel this time of year!
Over at The Daily Poutine, guests can get Cheeseburger Poutine again! This is a stellar poutine, so grab it while you can!
Splitsville has added several new items: Roadslider, Veggie Burger, Turkey Club Extreme, BBQ Chicken Salad, Cucumber Kani Su, Rocket Roll, and Samurai Roll.
And over at Paradiso 37, you can find a new Happy Hour Special!
(Don’t forget Paddlefish’s Happy Hour Specials throughout February, too!)
Joffrey’s Tea Traders Cafe has made a few changes.
They no longer sell the giant donuts we love so much — or any other pastries, for that matter. (Don’t worry — you can find the Donut King donuts at other Joffrey’s stands throughout the parks, still.)
And they’ve introduced Happy Hour!
Unsurprisingly, Goofy’s Candy Kitchen has some terrific sweets for your special Valentine. Chocolate Covered Strawberries are a classic.
Plus more chocolate sweets!
And a Rose Cake Pop covered in sprinkles is available. These look different from last year’s cake pops, so we can’t wait to try one!
You can also find Mickey and Minnie Candy Apples — and they are perfectly paired, per usual.
For a portable snack that also makes an awesome souvenir, pick up this Minnie’s Sweets bow tin filled with mini snickerdoodles!
Or grab a couple of Mickey and Minnie Mint Tins! We love the brand new comic style artwork.
The mints are the same ones that have always been on property, just in different packaging.
If you’re in need of boxed chocolates, there’s no shortage — but the packaging is updated for 2018!! Sugar-Free Milk Chocolate Covered Mickey Pretzels are a tasty treat.
Mickey Pretzels also come in (full-sugar) Dark Chocolate. Yes!
And traditional Milk Chocolate with that adorable smiling Mickey on the box.
Life is like a box of chocolates — and when Mickey is on the cover, it’s even sweeter! Assorted chocolates have lots of personality!
Or select a box of assorted nut and caramel chocolates. Or heck — get one of each.
For upscale chocolate, pop into the Ganachery, where you can pick up the seasonal ganache flavor: Strawberries and Champagne!
Or grab a new mug! It comes with sound medical advice…
And just try to resist this Minnie and Mickey sweethearts chocolate pop. On second thought, don’t bother to try to resist.
For savory eats, head to Earl of Sandwich, where you can pick up Wings and Wedges!
Or order the seasonal French Dip, which comes with au jus for dipping. Yum!
If you’re a fan of the Disney Springs food trucks, you can now find some food truck snacks over at Dockside Margaritas. Now you can get some snacks to soak up those tasty drinks! Eats available Monday through Friday starting at 5PM and Saturday through Sunday starting at 1PM.
To visit the Fantasy Fare Food Truck, head to its new location between World of Disney and Basin. (Note that these move around all the time…cause they’re trucks…so you never know where you’ll spot them.)
Spring’s Street Tacos food truck is still located in the Westside near Starbucks. You can pick up all things taco here.
Two new seasonal items have arrived at D-Luxe Burger. The savory option is a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich complete with blue cheese crumble and a fried chicken breast.
The sweet option is a Cookies and Cream Shake. So much yum.
At Amorette’s Patisserie, you can now warm your soul with tomato or butternut squash soup in a bread bowl.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with a truly beautiful Petit Tea Time Cake with lemon and green tea chiffon cake and citrus curd.
The garnishes on the Petit Tea Time Cake are simply lovely.
And finally, celebrate Fat Tuesday at House of Blues every Tuesday night!
They’ve decked out the courtyard too. We love the festive Mardi Gras vibe.
Don’t forget to pop inside to get our new favorite Disney dessert ANYWHERE!
Merchandise
The Disney merchandise gods are smiling on us with some totally irresistible apparel. First up is a Monsters, Inc., dress at The Dress Shop! We love the colors and those classic Monsters doors!
At Ever After Jewelry, you can select from a few new handbags. This Dopey seatbelt bag is so pretty in purple and pale green.
Or choose this Snow White version, complete with a sweet red bow.
And for the Beauty and the Beast inclined, this Enchanted Rose Bag is something to see!
For runners (or fans of cute, comfy athleisure wear), here’s some Disney character-inspired running gear! We need one in every design. ASAP.
How ’bout those outfits for running motivation?
Construction
Construction continues in Disney Springs as we eagerly await opening dates for Jaleo, Terralina, and Wine Bar George! Lots happening at Jaleo by Chef Jose Andres!
Roof and stone work in progress at Terralina.
Looking forward to the water views from these areas of Terralina!
And over at Wine Bar George, outdoor areas are in progress!
That’s it! Stay tuned for more new everything around Walt Disney World!

Thanks for the great summary! Just when I think I should take a break from Disney Springs, I realize I need to go back yet again! (I really want soup in a bread bowl for some reason.)

Best chocolate-covered strawberries on the whole Walt Disney World complex are at Amorette’s Patisserie. They’re 3 for $6, but they’re huge strawberries. And they are to die for! My granddaughter insists on going to Disney Springs just for those strawberries.
