Guests sailing on the Disney Magic cruise ship are now experiencing a brand new restaurant: Rapunzel’s Royal Table is now welcoming guests to the Kingdom of Corona… by way of the sea!
Themed to the film Tangled, Rapunzel’s Royal Table has brought a completely new dining experience to the Magic. Similar to Tiana’s Place on the Magic’s counterpart — the Disney Wonder — Rapunzel’s Royal Table delivers a themed menu, live entertainment, and Disney characters to guests… all set inside a ballroom in the royal castle!
The festivities take place for Rapunzel’s birthday as well as the anniversary of her return to the kingdom, and the King and Queen of Corona invite all Magic passengers to the celebration! The royal setting features glowing wish lanterns and drawings reflecting Rapunzel’s artistic talent. And do I spy Flynn Rider?!
Be still my heart!
Singing, dancing, and MUSIC further set the scene, with none other than the Snuggly Duckling Thugs on hand… as well as Princess Rapunzel, who ultimately leads guests in a parade throughout the restaurant (I mean, castle!).
Similar to the Bon Voyage Character Breakfast that takes place at Trattoria al Forno in Disney World, the Royal Table menu has received the Tangled treatment with themed dishes. Appetizers include the Snuggly Duckling Platter charcuterie plate, Ahi Tuna Tartar, and a Romaine Wedge with Hot Smoked Salmon.
Entree options feature Tangled Pasta (Angel Hair — ha!), Oktoberfest Lemon and Thyme Roasted Chicken, Pan-seared Sea Bass Filet, and the Flynn Rider Platter with grilled smoked pork loin served with roasted smoked pork belly, braised red cabbage, fried potato dumpling, and a wine jus.
And just try leaving a Disney Cruise Line table without dessert 😉 . Options at Rapunzel’s include the Birthday Cupcake Sundae and the Gothel Black Forest Tower.
Rapunzel’s Royal Table has replaced Carioca’s and joins Animator’s Palate and Lumiere’s as part of the Disney Magic’s rotational dining options, allowing passengers to experience three unique restaurants while their memorable waitstaff rotates along with them.
