News came out last month about big changes coming to Dinner at Magic Kingdom’s Be Our Guest Restaurant, beginning July 27, 2018. We learned about dinner becoming a new prix fixe meal, and that the experience will require 2 Table Service credits on the Disney Dining Plan. We also received all sorts of menu details, which you can read about in full and see pictures of by clicking here.
One thing we didn’t learn, however, is what the Beast will be serving for dessert after dinner in his Castle. While guests will order their choice from the appetizer and entree selections, the final course remained a mystery… until now!!
Introducing the Dessert Trio, which will be exclusive to the Dinner menu at Be Our Guest Restaurant.
A raspberry macaron with lemon filling and fresh raspberries and a whole maraschino cherry dipped in dark chocolate with hazelnut topping are plated on the outer edges of the stained glass-inspired plate, featuring the Enchanted Rose from Beauty and the Beast. And in the center? Why, that’s a white chocolate cup — Chip, of course! — filled with… The Grey Stuff!!
Très adorable!
And with that, the dinner menu is complete! Pricing for the new experience will be $55 for adults, and $35 for children (ages 3-9), or two credits on the Disney Dining Plan, as noted above. Tax and gratuity are not included.
So, knowing the full picture now — with the announcement of the Dessert Trio — will you be trying to land a coveted Advance Dining Reservation for dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant?

Robin says
Any word on of it will be prix fixe only, or will there be other menu options in addition?
Essie says
If I can’t get a lunch ressie, I MAY make this a special splurge dinner, out of pocket.
Stacy says
I’m definitely including it on my next trip. The new menu will not have taken effect yet, but the atmosphere is excellent.
Not a fan of the grey stuff though 🙂
Ruth says
Booked the dinner for when we are there in September (and on the dining plan)
really looking forward to it and I love the desserts
Roxann says
I have dined at be our guest twice. It was a great experience both times. However, I am tired of restaurants now taking two credits of my meal plan forcing me to pay for another meal on another day. Enough is enough. I’ve been to Disney over 30 times and every time it gets worse and things start to aggravate me. It is a magical experience I agree with that and I do love the place. But you are making it not available to the normal average American family
DFB Sarah says
Robin, from the sound of it, dinner will only be prix fixe.
Francesca says
I agree with Roxann. Pricing is out of control at Disney. Who can afford to go there anymore? Signature dining requiring two dining credits used to be reserved for the very best restaurants. I don’t think Be Our Guest belongs in that category. Adorable and atmospheric, absolutely. Food is so-so though. Glad I went last trip. Don’t need to go again. Will save those credits for Jiko.
Marita says
Will this trio be available to all or only if you order from the prix fixe menu? And when will it be available?
DFB Sarah says
Marita, the dessert trio is slated to be served with the prix fixe dinner at Be Our Guest that will go into effect on July 27, 2018. No info yet on whether the trio or items in the trio will be available at other times of day.
Eloni says
Where is the kids menu? Hard to make plans when you don’t know if your child will be able to eat anything.
Meredirh says
The lemon cupcake will be gone?!?! It is the best thing on the menu. Please tell me you will Be opening a patisserie that will offer the lemon cupcake!!!!
DFB Sarah says
Meredith, a Be Our Guest patisserie would be amazing! (In the meantime, we expect the lemon cupcake will stick around for lunch!)
Roz says
We will be there in October and I was finally able to book a dinner ressie at BOG !! I hope I’m not disappointed in the new Prix Fixe menu. But the dessert tray looks awesome.
I agree that Disney is out pricing itself on food ( and everything else ) but I wanted to try it just once, so here we go !!!!
I did have breakfast at BOG once and ONCE was enough…. not good at all and do not recommend it !!!
Ashley says
What about the new kids menu for dinner?
DFB Sarah says
Ashley, we haven’t seen the kids’ menu yet! When we do, we’ll let you know!
Stacy says
Are breakfast and lunch as a quick service option remaining the same?
DFB Sarah says
Stacy, yes, that is right.
Derek says
Will they still have the strawberry cupcake, i believe it was for dinner and if not where /when can you get it now?
DFB Sarah says
Derek, we hope that BOG will keep their popular cupcakes on the lunch menu, but we will take a look at the menu when they make the switch at dinner. Those cupcakes are available only at Be Our Guest Restaurant.
Lisbet says
Will not be getting reservations there. Not paying to eat at a restaurant that will not have a dessert I can. By the looks of it most of the appetizers and entrées aren’t safe for me either
