Things are always changing quickly in Disney Springs, and we’ve got the What’s New scoop on everyone’s favorite Disney-fied shopping district! Let’s go!
Disney Springs Menu Updates
Easter candy goes upscale (but still totally cute!) at The Ganachery. Pick up some Speckled Salted Caramel Eggs for your favorite little bunny (or yourself).
Or crack open a Pinata Egg to get a surprise treat!
This chocolate Bunny Surprise has hidden eggs inside. Weird but cool?
Assorted Chocolate Eggs are always a good idea!
You can also go for a Character Chocolate Bar at The Ganachery. Captain Jack is, apparently, made of Milk Chocolate with Caramel (he probably calls it liquid gold). And of course there are “hidden pearls” inside.
Aurora is Dark Chocolate — only the richest of sweets for her!
Earl of Sandwich has broken out its seasonal eats, including a Spicy Tuna Sandwich and a Wahoo Sandwich. We’d like to order that one just to say Wahoo Sandwich!
You can also get an Ice Cream Sandwich at Earl right now.
There are lots of seasonal treats at Goofy’s Candy Co. Start by creating your own Easter Basket or Tote.
Or grab this cutie: an Easter Bunny Caramel Apple!
Prefer your bunnies in cupcake form? There’s an Easter Bunny Cupcake for you!
Or an Easter Chick Cupcake. Or one of each. 😉
We were lucky enough to catch some Fresh-Dipped Mickey Pops. So much melted chocolate!
Goofy’s Sour Taffy in family size is now in this resealable bag (previously it was in a box).
Over at Vivoli il Gelato, there are lots of seasonal options. Milkshakes include The Leprechaun’s Wish this month. And don’t forget to check out that cannoli shake!
Sundaes include the Nutella Brownie Sundae, which we reviewed previously. Hello, yum!
And there’s a seasonal float: The Tropicale with mango and coconut sorbetto!
The current food truck in West Side is Fantasy Fare, which is serving up Shrimp and Lobster Mac and Cheese, Chicken Strips with Waffle Fries, Chicken and Waffles, and Hand-Dipped Corn Dogs. The hand-dipped corn dogs are the same as what we’ve reviewed before here at Fantasy Fare, but the chicken and waffles have gotten an update!
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar’s current food menu features some favorites like Air Pirate’s Pretzels and several new and returning options like Doctor Astorga’s Queso Fundito, Sankara Stones and Barrels, Satipo’s Empanadas, Pakoras of Mayapore, Nang Tao Spicy Popcorn Chicken, and Old World Pizza of San Marco.
And The Daily Poutine is dishing out Irish Stout Poutine with braised cabbage and corned beef!
If you follow Homecomin’ on social media, you likely saw that the restaurant has added a few new items, including Spinach & Kale Chopped Salad, Big Fish Sandwich, and Capitol Meatloaf. There are also a couple of new drinks, just in time for the hot summer season!
Disney Springs Merchandise Updates
Meanwhile in the world of Disney Springs merchandise, the newly opened The Disney Corner pop-up store is packed from wall to wall with charming merch while World of Disney undergoes a few refurbishments.
You’ll find this new shop near The Polite Pig and across from the escalators.
Princess merch abounds!
And polka dot fans will be thrilled with the options here.
There’s lots of fun decor, too!
And sweet animation at the check-out.
So many souvenirs! And we love how bright and airy it feels in here.
Seriously, so much princess gear.
Cute Minnie hat…
Did we mention it’s two floors of fun Disney gear?
We’re not sure how long this will be open. It’s currently providing relief as World of Disney undergoes a few refurbishments (WoD is still open, but parts of it are being renovated).
At Tren-D, guests will find lots of great throwback tees! The Rescuers Down Under are getting some love!
And Rescue Rangers!
Duck Tales! Welcome back, childhood!
And this Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers tee has some great old animation stills.
For your patriotic dishware needs, head over to the Marketplace Co-Op, where you’ll find the Red, White, and Blue line.
Disney Springs Construction
Construction continues in earnest (as ever!). Walls are up at World of Disney.
Inside, lots of the spaces are closed off for renovations.
Wolfgang Puck’s new location is under construction near Planet Hollywood Observatory.
Wine Bar George is nearing completion!
And Terralina is coming along, too…maybe? It was supposed to open in, like, January, so we really have no idea what’s happening here.
New signage indicates a Spring 2018 opening!
The NBA Experience looks massive!
And Jaleo is exciting us with lots of neat exterior shapes!
And that’s all Disney Springs wrote on this visit! But with so much happening, you know we’ll be back with more What’s New in the near future!
