Pixar Fest
has invaded just about every restaurant at Disneyland Resort — including Award Wieners! This fantastic hot dog spot was the site of the Summer of Heroes’ Funnel Cake fries last year, and this year, the themed funnel cake fries are brand new…and awesome!
The Pixar Fest menu at Award Wieners includes a Pulled Pork Hot Dog, Nemo and Dory Tumblers, and our two items of the day: Funnel Cake Fries and the Rotating Flavor Slush!
We’re gonna start with the loser of the pair: the Rotating Flavor Slush, which on our visit was Lime and Grape. It looks lovely, with the Mike and Sulley-esque bright green and purple contrast. But the grape flavor is seriously kids grape medicine, so unless you desire to drink something akin to cough syrup, hard pass this one, friends.
Instead, dig into the Funnel Cake Fries! As ever, the fries are golden brown and crispy. Then they’re topped with Whipped Cream, sugary Glaze, and Fruit Cereal (i.e. Fruity Pebbles)! How colorful and fun! And this tastes awesome (if a little sweet!). We definitely recommend!
The fun is on at Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort — and if you’re like us and want to try it all, don’t forget to use our handy dandy Pixar Fest Food Checklist! Print, eat, check off, repeat!

I think I’d like the fries, Heather, but without the cereal. Do you know how much the cute light and ball straws are?

The Luxo Ball and And Luxo, Jr. straw clip on its own is available for $5.99. We’ve spotted it at Schmoozie’s, and it may be available in other locations as well.
