THEY’RE BAAAACK!
Summer is approaching, and with it, cravings for everyone’s favorite campfire treat: S’mores! Walt Disney World has done s’mores in lots of different ways over the years, most recently in latte form at Joffrey’s last year. And now The Ganachery in Disney Springs has upped the game on this simple treat.
Because The Ganachery is an upscale specialty chocolate and sweets shop, their version of the S’more features high-end components like Vanilla Bean Marshmallow Squares and surprise additions like Salted Caramel Ganache. But for ooey, gooey goodness, it’s hitting all the right notes.
These pop up from time to time at the Ganachery, and during the holidays, you should look for their gingerbread version!
These S’mores are also house-made — right before your eyes! That’s right: you’ll get to peek in on the cast members as they craft these squares of dessert heaven.
You’ll even get to see the cast members playing with fire as they torch your marshmallow to order!
The House-Made S’more is sandwiched between two Graham Crackers — of course! — with chocolate coating each cracker.
The Graham Crackers are super soft. These are not your typical grocery store boxed crackers, y’all. And while the texture is really lovely to bite into, the S’more does fall apart pretty easily.
Still, it’s worth it for the perfect bite of thick Marshmallow! And when we say thick, we mean seriously thick! And because it’s torched to order, the hot Marshmallow easily melts the rich Chocolate. Plus there is a thin layer of Salted Caramel Ganache placed directly on top of the hot Marshmallow, marrying all the components in sticky food joy.
The S’more is topped with a powdered sugar Mickey, which is a special touch we’ve come to expect at The Ganachery.
It’s messy, no doubt. But the $8 S’more at The Ganachery is worth the splurge. Every component is top-notch delicious, and it’s SO.GOOD.

Any ideas if we can use a snack credit for the s’more?
Essie says
I’m officially drooling.
DFB Sarah says
Lucy: Sadly, no.

Tried this last night and had mixed reviews. The cracker is more gingerbread than graham, which was interesting but not what I was looking for. Marshmallow was outstanding and the best part. *Very messy for a “walk around DT dessert.”
The location does not yet give DVC or AP discounts, which is a bummer. Very friendly staff though, who told me to keep checking back bc that could change at a moments notice.

Do they make these gluten free? x
DFB Sarah says
Danielle, that’s a good question. You could try calling The Ganachery (1 407-934-3500) to find out!

Ohmigosh! You have got to try another new find here! I just went on Saturday and they had a cold version of their drinking chocolate… it was like drinking a chocolate bar! So good!!!
DFB Sarah says
Tricia, thanks for the tip! We always love an excuse to eat (or drink!) more chocolate!
