Been bringing a tray for years, but if you don’t want to carry it around all day, especially if you are leaving the F&W fest and not going back to your room, go to the Refreshment Port near Le Cellier and ask for a cardboard tray, and toss it when you are done. Worked for us before we got the plastic one.

I have been getting your online book about the Food and Wine for the last few years. Two questions. First will the book be out (available) more than a week before the time that we can book the events. There was not enough time last year to look at things and research before booking? Second, Will you know the theme or cooks and foods that will be at Party for the Senses? Last year there was none of that info. We did one of the parties and one of the people in are party couldn’t eat much of what was offered. It would be nice to know and choose. We are there for two weekends and it would be nice to know what each night is? Thank you Keith

Hi Keith — Unfortunately, we are subject to Disney’s whims when it comes to these things. We release our book within 24 hours of when Disney announces the booking information for their Food and Wine events, and last year…that was literally DAYS before booking was available. (The previous year, they actually didn’t release some of the information until AFTER the booking window had opened!) When it comes to Party for the Senses, Disney hasn’t been releasing information about specific chefs the way they did several years ago, so guests are basically “surprised” when they get to the event as Disney doesn’t release those details early anymore, either.
So, to answer your question, I certainly hope that Disney releases the information with a decent interval for people to plan, but for the past two years, they haven’t. We get our book out immediately after they release the information (and we organize the information valuably in the book so that people can easily determine what works best for them). But your beef here is with Disney, unfortunately.
