We’re coming back to you from Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter once again this week!
And this time we’re at the Resort’s indoor lounge, Scat Cat’s Club!
Just in case you missed it, we were just at this lovely Resort last week when the Beignets — a staple at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory — took on their new Mickey-Shape!
And our trip today focuses around Beignets again… but of a different variety! New on the menu at the jazz-inspired Scat Cat’s Club are BOOZY BEIGNETS!
Also known (officially 😉 ) as Baton Rouge Beignets, the classic pillow-shaped Beignets are complete with your choice of Baileys, Kahlua, or Rumchata!
The infusion takes place with the help of pipettes making the most of the hollow Beignets, allowing guests to insert their alcohol of choice into the Beignets. (And, for the record, you can only order one type of alcohol per order as opposed to all three. We tried.)
This super cool system means the Beignets don’t get soggy from being soaked in the alcohol by a pour-over method.
We tried two versions! First, the Kahlua, the popular coffee-flavored liqueur.
And second, with Baileys Irish Cream!
The Baileys, it’s worth noting, came by the cast member’s recommendation.
And after trying both the Kahlua and the Baileys, we have to agree! Both were tasty, but the creamy consistency of the Baileys lent it something extra, elevating the already indulgent treat from really fun and tasty to pretty freakin’ awesome!
And for $8 a pop, no matter which you choose, this is a fun, memorable, and tasty choice at Scat Cat’s Club!
Just one more way to Let the Good Times Roll at Port Orleans!! GET THERE!!

We are planning our first visit to the French Quarter, not to stay just to wonder around, and to try the regular beignets. We may need to try the regular ones and then stop by Scat Cat and try the Baileys. They do sound good.
Mary Harper says
Can you use snack credits on this?
Nicole says
I so need to know if I can use a snack credit on this…..
Kim says
$8 per beignet? Considering I’d probably want 3, that’s $24 just on a super snack. Nope – I’ll head to Trader Sam’s with that moolah, ty very much.
Tian says
NOT $8 each, $8 for 3 beignets. Just like the sign says.
Tian says
Now I’m torn! I have boatrights dinner reservations and I intended to wander over the floatworks for a Mickey beignet Sunday for dessert but these boozy beignets throw a whole new option in the same location. What to do, what to do? #houseofmouseproblems
Tess says
It’s $8 for three with the booze. Not per beignet.
DFB Sarah says
Tian… one of each? 😉
DFB Sarah says
Nicole, at present, Scat Cat’s doesn’t accept any DDP!
Tian says
Dont tempt me Sarah. I am not above a Beignet Buffet. I am thinking the snack credit option for the sundae might be the deciding factor but I have no problem paying $8 for 3 Boozy Beignets. My biggest problem would be deciding between Kahlua and Baileys. Both so Yummy!!!
Mary says
Just want to let you know that I went to Scat Cat’s last night and they offered a the option to get one of each alcohol choice. So I don’t know if they changed their “policy” on it, if maybe that was an option all along and you were told wrong, or something else. But they offered it to me and that’s what I went with.
Alice says
Can you use a snack credit on this?
DFB Sarah says
Alice, Scat Cat’s doesn’t accept DDP, unfortunately.
DFB Sarah says
Tian, we’re hearing you may be able to get more than one flavor now!
Tian says
One per flavor might make the boozy beignets a must have item!!
DFB Sarah says
Tian, we are hearing they’re now allowing one of each!
Venessa Hinojosa-Wright says
Just saw some you tube vloggers that went to go get these and they had one of each flavor on their plate 🙂
Thomas says
Can we order these for take out, so I can bring them back to my resort?? Or do we have to eat them there??
DFB Sarah says
Thomas, when we picked up our boozy beignets, the cast member asked if we wanted them to go, so as long as that hasn’t changed, you should be able to take them back to your resort! Enjoy!
Patricia Heil says
Currently $10.50 for 2 and you can pick 2 different liquors.
