Fav resort to go along with my fav park! While its only downside is its location and need to bus everywhere, it more than makes up for it with unsurpassable culture, food, music, and the animals. Along with the Savor the Savanna tour, this immersion into a foreign continent is unmatchable. The cast members willingness to engage about their culture, to the exotic food and drink is amazing and unlike any other staying experience in Disney. The water parks within the resort, the dining at both locations, the woods and colors and music of the design of the resort, and the complete range of cultural exposure makes it my top choice!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! You must have read our minds because this year we are making it our first stop to visit instead of Disney Springs to give our kiddos a new and unique experience! Thanks for the ideas!

Don’t forget my absolute favorite, the Wayama Safari (may need to verify spelling). It used to be only available to people in club level rooms, but now it is available to everyone. It at first seems expensive, but given you get a few hours tour on all the savannas at the lodge and end in a chef’s table with wine at Jiko’s; I find it totally worth it.

I loved staying at this resort . The food was very good. We ate at The buffet for breakfast and dinner. Dinner was better but it was neat to try all the different African dishes. I will say the room service here was outstanding and huge. Really helped when we’re to tired to go down after a long day at the parks. Waking up to the animals everyday was something i’ll Never forget.
