During yesterday’s Preview for the 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, information was revealed for a daily Candy Sushi event! New this year, a Disney Chef will teach guests how to create their very own sweet Candy Sushi! Skittles is partnering with Adventures by Disney to present this session daily at 3:30 and 5:30 pm in Sunshine Seasons in The Land Pavilion.
This family-friendly event will involve rolling together items like krispy treats and — of course — Skittles! Though it is anticipated to be especially popular for kids, all ages are welcome.
Booking for this complimentary event will open on August 16th on the Disney World website. UPDATE: Disney has also added a Candy Sushi page to their website through which to book. Guests may also call (407) 939-3378 to book.
Though the event is free, it is anticipated that it will be popular, and space will be limited. For that reason, a credit card guarantee will be required (similar to when booking an Advance Dining Reservation for a Table Service Restaurant).

Brasserie Louis says
Amazing! Just can’t wait for this. Thanks for sharing!
Natalie says
Is there a specific time of day on the 16th this is available? Wondering if I need to stay up until midnight the night before or if it’s like an 8am EST thing.
Monica Patricio says
Do you know if it opens at 6am like ADRs?
Roz says
Sounds like fun !!! We have booked for the Parisian Breakfast at Chef de France !! Cannot wait for that one !!
Laurel Stein says
How long will it take, do you know? Trying to work it around ADRs… thanks!!
And do you know what time on the 16th the reservations will open?
Laura Ross says
Making candy sushi is right up my daughter’s alley. So glad you posted about this. Planning on getting signed up for it on 8/16. Thanks so much!!
DFB Sarah says
Laurel, no indication of how long this might take. We would guess no longer than 1-1.5 hours. Reservations generally open at 6AM online and 7AM by phone. (Sometimes that 6AM gets pushed to 7, but we suggest getting online at 6 just in case!)
DFB Sarah says
Monica, we expect so, yes.
DFB Sarah says
Natalie, reservations usually open up online at 6AM eastern and on the phone at 7AM eastern.
Bryan Mangum says
Anyone know the age restrictions?
Shannon says
Will infants be allowed? My daughter will be almost 9 months. Do I need to include her in booking like other ADR’s?
Sherri says
I plan on getting up early to book it.
Craig says
Tried booking this at 6 AM today. The site said to call to book it. I called at 7 AM on the nose and there is already a 45 min wait time. Oh well!
Diane says
I’m booked! I had to call, and the early slot was already taken for the day I wanted. Looks fun!!
Angela Brower-Hobbs says
Got my Candy Sushi Reservation! Thanks Disney Food Blog for all the info we needed to get it done. My daughters are going to love it!
Latharia says
Just booked … had to wait 35 minutes on hold … but I got what I wanted!
DFB Sarah says
Shannon, when you talk to a Reservations cast member, mention this. Since you’ve included her in your other ADRs, I would think you might also include her for this experience. Have fun!
Antoinette says
Did everyone have to book on the phone? I am not finding availability on any day online for the entire festival!
Crystal says
Shannon I booked this for my family yesterday. My nephew will be 10 months old and I asked the cast member if I needed to include him because I didn’t want to take up an extra spot since he won’t be making sushi and she said it should be fine to not include him.
DFB Sarah says
Thanks for the info, Crystal!
Shannon says
@Sarah and @Crystal – Thank you. I booked over the phone Thursday and they included my daughter in the booking.
Jess says
When can we see a review! I’m dying to know more about it!!! 🙂
Hayley says
We found out about this late and everything is booked. Has anyone gotten in last minute due to a no show?
DFB Sarah says
Hayley, we haven’t heard this, but it can’t hurt to ask!
