Walt Disney World’s Tables in Wonderland
membership program has many benefits, not the least of which is discounts on food and beverages (including alcohol) at locations throughout the resorts and parks. And now Tables in Wonderland members are invited to participate in the Contemporary Resort Chef’s Table Experience!
Read more about the Tables in Wonderland here!
The new Chef’s Table Experience begins with a reception and champagne toast in the Catering Kitchen at the Contemporary.
Diners are then led through a secret entrance to the Chef’s Table. Six courses are finished on-stage, and all are accompanied by a coordinating wine selection.
Perhaps the most exciting part of the experience is that opportunity to talk to the chefs and sommelier about their work, making the experience both delicious and interactive. 😉

Dates for this Tables in Wonderland Member-exclusive experience are October 11 (sold out), October 18, November 1 (sold out), December 6, and December 13 (sold out). The all-inclusive price is $259 per guest — plus tax. But you’ll want to call ahead to book this one ((407) WDW-7762) because space is limited.
Parties are limited to ten for the experience, and there is a 24-hour cancellation period. And because it’s a special occasion, a dress code will be enforced, including khakis or slacks for men (sport coats optional) and capri pants, skirts, or dresses for women. And like Disney World’s signature dining experiences, no flip-flops, bathing suits, tank tops, or hats are allowed. (I don’t know why they do this. Basically just wear your “Sunday best” and you’ll be fine.)
The Chef’s Table Experience sounds like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and with its proximity to the holidays, it might just make a fabulous gift for the foodie in your life. And with Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival happening through mid-November, this could be a fantastic accompaniment!

Just received this blog about the Tables in Wonderland dining experience at the Contemporary resort. Now we find that some dates are sold out. How can this happen. Are there others that get priority for these experiences. I don’t understand why and how. What’s the problem

Hi Gsry — Each date is only a small amount of people, so it’s selling out quickly. Do you get the Tables in Wonderland emails? If not, you can email [email protected] to get your name on the mailing list!

This used to be part of the F&W festival and part of booking along with the rest of the festival events. We have attended this event the last two years. I’m sure I’m not the only person who noticed the dwindling of signature F&W events this year. I’m not sure why they partitioned this specific event off to TIW only and then failed to notify TIW card holders. I’ve had TIW for many years and my current card was effective in May of this year. There is no excuse for the lack of communication to cardholders. I have noticed that the TIW website no longer exists and everything is now redirected back to the Disney site – I can only assume this is part of the “new” management of the TIW program. Unfortunately Disney has missed the seamless in the guest experience.
