The early bird catches the Slinky Dog… because booking is now open for a new event in Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Disney Early Morning Magic at Toy Story Land!
You may already be familiar with Early Morning Magic in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland (and previously an Early Morning Magic event was offered for Hollywood Studios, featuring different attractions).
The gist for this new event is the same: purchase of a limited-entry special ticket event — in addition to regular park admission — allows guests to enter the park early and have access to Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Toy Story Mania! before the park’s regular opening and enjoy an included breakfast.
Buzz, Woody, and Jessie will also be available for meet and greets.
A continental breakfast buffet will be included featuring yogurt, fruit, pastries and assorted cereal, along with your choice of a main dish like avocado toast or fried chicken served with a cronut. Breakfast will take place at a select Quick Service dining location outside of Toy Story Land.
Early Morning Magic at Toy Story Land is available with the purchase of a separate ticket (in addition to regular park admission, which is also required). The cost for the extra event is $79 per adult, and $69 for children ages 3 to 9 (not including tax). Please note that, according to the Disney World website, “At approximately 9:00 AM, the theme park will open to Guests with regular theme park admission tickets and event-only attraction access will end.”
The event runs from 7:30 am to 8:45 am on select Mondays and Wednesdays, with breakfast available until 10:00 am. Early Morning Magic at Toy Story Land is bookable via the Disney World website (or by calling 407-827-7350) for dates beginning September 17th through December 19th at the time of publishing.

There is a chocolate Carmel thing in your ig. Where and what is it? Thanks
DFB Sarah says
Hi, Bill! Looks like the most recent caramel and chocolate Instagram post was the Brownie Temptation at Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom!
Rob Crawford says
I guess including extra magic hours with the cost of room on-property had to come to an end eventually.
Kelly M says
$79 is pretty spenny for 75 minutes…
Sharon says
Going at the end of August- I was soooo hoping that they’d do this while we were there! We did the one they offered in 2016. It was wonderful! Any word on how long they will offer this? Or if they’ll expand the dates and start it earlier?
Deb says
They keep making it less and less attractive to stay on property. It’s almost better to stay off prop and save $$$. Spend it on these extra Magic experiences. It’s sad.
Ali G says
This explains why there are no EMH for DHS when I will be there…
Kendall says
WTF? This is supposed to be a perk to people staying on property. Really Disney? This is getting ridiculous.
Sue says
Money money money money. Wherever they can grab it.
Sandra says
I think it is a shame to now charge for the extra hours at the different parks.
Everyone pays a hefty price for the tickets, food, resort parking and now to early time.
Disney don’t be so greedy. I will not pay for the extra time.
Linda says
We LOVE LOVE Disney, so much that we r dvc members….., However, the constant prices and add on its where ever disney can and does, leaves a less than magical taste in my mouth….?
kathleen says
We only spend money on Disney..look at all the money people spend on sports. Disney is an all day entertainment
Kim S says
Just booked for our December trip! Thank you for always giving us the breaking news! 🙂
Debra Tucker-Frank says
This is our 12th trip to Disney already booked in Nov. So we’re obligated to go. But Because of the money grabbers this will be our final trip to Disney. This is not what Walt would have envision.
Essie says
Too many extra charges. Why are they taking the the EMH away from on prop guests AND raising room rates?
Cjk says
I agree. This is getting ridiculous. It is no use planning a way to use FP and do park opening for another tier one ride. What happened to perks for on property resort guests.
Donna says
I love all of the extra experiences Disney arranges and actually I am pleased there is a charge as if it was free the whole thing would be terribly over crowded (more so than if there was a charge)… I am happy to pay for something like this, we can’t always afford to do them all but I love having the option and trying new things each time we go 🙂
Anthony says
My family vacationed at WDW earlier this summer. Our trip ended a couple days before Toy Story Land opened. For the time in the last 9 years (5 trips) my wife and I felt Disney was all about $$. Getting very greedy! Unfortunately this will catch up to them…..even Disney won’t be able to stop it!
Lisa R says
Well, I guess many people think this is a good deal since it is already sold out for the week when I am there in October. I looked yesterday and it was available but now not available for 10/8 and 10/10. I guess I will have to change my plans since I was planning to go to rope drop at HS one of those days but now there will be tons of people who are already in the park before me. Disappointing.
Kim S says
They are not taking away EMH. This is a different and separate event. EMH still exist at no charge for guests staying on property.
Mike says
You should be ashamed. Walt would never approve of this. At $79, you should at least offer a full-service breakfast. You should have positioned this as a Toy Story character breakfast with a new extra FastPass for Toy Story. As it is now, it’s just a money-grab.
Nicole says
Everyone knows they still offer EMH’s, right?!
Teresa says
I agree. Where’s the magic on this “deal”? Not even a full breakfast? We stay on property FOR the extra magic hours-we don’t expect to have to pay more!
Tink says
I agree price is quite steep to ride 3 rides & continental breakfast. Disney is just getting over the top with their prices. Come on $256 plus for 3 , and let’s not forget you’ve already paid to enter into the park. Crazy
Brian says
As much as this seems like a money grab (which it is), there are always people willing to spend the cash on these types of events (see some previous comments). The reality is if enough people buy these add-ons, Disney will keep offering them. If they had a low turn-out, they wouldn’t continue offering them since there would be no money to be made. Disney knows a certain amount of people will pay any amount of money just because it’s Disney. Think about all the rabid Stars Wars fans. Disney could raise the price to $200 a day at HS and it would still be overflowing with people….with people lining up to get in. It’s unfortunate for the majority who love to visit WDW periodically and are not so obsessed that they will blindly spend any amount.

Well THAT screws up my Rope Drop plans a bit… ~_~

We happened to be the first guests ever to enjoy the early morning magic at ToyStoryLand on opening day today Monday 9/17/18. We are annual pass holders and this event is well worth it, in fact better value than Halloween party ( we did that nite b4), and Xmas party ( didn’t d that a few yrs ago). There were less than 300 people, a bunch were media, the people count mite go up a bit based on popularity, but all of toystoryland all to ourselves. I went on slinky coaster 4 times, TS Mania twice, and alien twirl ride once (didn’t like that ride, not worth waiting for, I got rite on no waiting, and it still wasn’t good), got my pix taken and chatted with w/ woody, Jessie, buzz lite year, even though they didn’t talk back but did have reactions to what I was saying, and took a pix at awesome entrance with no one around, ate breakfast rite away 7:30am and again at a 9:45am, and they had coffee and water stations by the rides. I kept seeing the same people and felt like I knew them even though I didn’t. 5 star experience and well worth it if u r a pass holder, but not so much if u r not. 90-120 minutes doesn’t seem like a lot of extra time but we got everything done and ate twice and much much more. Highly recommend. Best value of all extra experiences we’ve ever done and we’ve done almost all of them.

Diana, thanks so much for sharing!
Tim says
I don’t understand why everyone is complaining about the price. No one is forcing you to go. No one is forcing you to pay. This is different then the regular extra magic hours that they still do.
