This week we were in search of seasonal treats and menu updates in the Art of Animation, Pop Century, All Star Music, All Star Sports, and All Star Movies resorts. Time to take a look at some spooky and seasonal updates and eats!
Disney World All Star Sports Updates and Menu Changes
We were so excited to find some of these fall-themed baked goods that we already wrote a post dedicated to them! They look super fun, but they actually taste pretty good, too!
The seasonal options include a Day of the Dead Spiced Cupcake, White Chocolate Mousse Cake (with a pumpkin Mickey on it), and a Cookies and Cream Spider Web Cupcake. You’ll still find the Edible Cookie Dough here as well!
Take a look at the Day of the Dead cupcake, and check out all of the other seasonal pastries here!

Bad news for smoothies fans, all Smoothies been removed from the menu. In addition, all gelato items are now made with ice cream.
Fans of the summer treat S’mores will notice that the S’mores Sundae and S’mores Bread Pudding have also been removed from the menus.
A new Gourmet Grilled Cheese has replaced the Brie and Apple Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The new sandwich is a combination of Provolone, Swiss, and White American Cheeses and served with Tomato Bisque Soup.
Work continues on the refurbishment of the seating area of the food court. If you are looking for seating head to the arcade area where additional seating has been set up until the refurbishment is complete.
If you’re spending the day at the pool the Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar‘s Bartender’s Featured Drink is a Frozen Black Cherry Lemonade.
Disney World All Star Music Updates and Menu Changes
How happy were we to see Honey Buns back on the menu at Intermission Food Court!
In addition, we found the same seasonal cupcakes in the pastry case as we found at All Star Sports – plus edible cookie dough and those picture-perfect Dole Whip cupcakes!
The cute unicorn cupcakes are still here, and a new Chef’s Special cupcake looks like it’s inspired by Ariel the Little Mermaid!
Take a look at the Pumpkin Cheesecake so pretty — and ready for Fall to arrive.

If you are fan of the Create-your-own Bowl concept be sure to explore all of the options with the remaining Southwest Bowl. The Asian, Greek, and Plant-Based Bowls have been removed, but some of the ingredient options from each of these are still available in the Southwest Bowl.
If you’re looking for a re-usable straw as straws move to request only across the parks and resorts, Remy is here to help. This re-usable straw features everyone’s favorite chef, and the bottom of the straw doubles as a spoon! The straw costs $4.00.
Fans of create-your-own options need to head over to the Singing Spirits Pool Bar to create-your-own beer flight. Your four-selection flight is $11.00, and you have 16 beers to choose from.
Disney World All Star Movies Updates and Menu Changes
The World Premiere Food Court pastry case is packed with seasonal cupcakes, edible cookie dough and Dole Whip cupcakes.
Look at this ready-for-Halloween White Chocolate Mousse Indulgence Chocolate Cake.

Now, we aren’t certain any nutritionist would approve of this change – but the Create-your-Own Salad Bar is now a Create-your-Own Sundae Bar. Create-your-Own Yogurt Parfaits are still available in the morning.
In the spirit of back-to-school there are two new seasonal milkshakes – the Nutto Professo (get it?) and the Nutty Pumpkin Coffee Milkshake.
On the savory side, there is a new Sriracha Pulled Pork Burger with cheese sauce (plastic cheese!) and fried onions.
Let’s say you’re relaxing at the Silver Screen Pool Bar and think “a Dole Whip would make this day perfect” — well now you can have a Pineapple Dole Whip Smoothie while taking in the sun!
What’s New at Pop Century Resort
Pop Century’s Everything Pop Food Court is in on the seasonal baked goods
as well as the All Star Resorts.
Keep your eye out for this monster cupcake…
…and these Halloween cookies!
The Turtle Brownie that was available occasionally was available as a Turtle Brookie when we were at Pop Century.
FYI — a Brookie is basically a brownie/cookie combo.
Here’s a fun way to get a re-usable Mickey Straw! These Fruit Loops Treats on a Mickey Straw are so colorful!
In the spirit of fall you can now get Sam Adams Octoberfest on tap.
Disney World’s Art of Animation Resort Updates and Menu Changes
We didn’t find any new food at Landscape of Flavors Food Court, but we did stop by to check out the cute character waffles. These are SUPER adorable, and feature several of your favorite pixar characters!
Despite not finding any new food in the food court, we did find this Mummy krispie treat in Ink and Paint Shop.
If you need a kick start in the morning take a look at this Lightning McQueen Mug. It is a bit heavy, so don’t know if we would use it for pens on our desks or for our coffee in the morning.
As they say in the Movie business, “that’s a wrap”! But, before we leave you, don’t forget to check out our food tours on YouTube!

That honey bun better be made out of gold at that price. Good grief, food has gotten expensive at WDW. A few years ago, prices were on par with most major cities (at least here on the East Coast.) They’ve far surpassed those prices by now…

The new stuff all looks yummy. I have 1 gripe though. The Cubano sandwich is made with dijon mayo instead of the normal yellow mustard. The yellow mustard and pickle combo is what makes the sandwich a Cubano. I wish they would just make it normal since it is so good as is.

Never been inside a value resort before, do they all have this weird, cheap, airport aesthetic? That signage is awful from a design standpoint, Holiday Inns look a little more respectable than this… Like, I get these are the “cheap” resorts, but yikes!
DFB Sarah says
Ben, there’s definitely a Disney resort for everyone, and lots of folks enjoy the themes of the Value resorts!

The food updates for POP look yummy! Did you guys happen to see if the room refurbs are complete at POP? I am having a hard time finding that info online to see if all the buildings are complete now as they estimated. Any idea?
Cindy says
I wish they would bring back the London Broil at the All Star Music (or one of the All Stars). It was great!
Stacey says
Hey AJ- I am at pop now and they have an oatmeal creme pie that tastes like Mother’s Taffy flavored cookies- amazing!!!
DFB Sarah says
Stacey, is it the same as the Oatmeal Cookie Sandwich in this post?
DFB Sarah says
Holly, our team says there is still construction on-going in the 50s section (and over by Hourglass Lake for the Skyliner). Hope this helps!
Lisa Brown says
The Fall desserts look amazing! Can’t wait to try them!
When will the seating refurbishments be done at the Sports?
Emily says
Hi, do you know if the Remy straw is available anywhere else at Disney World?!
Laura says
Smoothies and milkshakes are still listed on the WDW website menu for AS Sports. Are you sure they were removed from the menu?
