Through 2018 guests staying at the seven resorts that make up the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels have not only enjoyed being walking distance from Disney Springs, but have also enjoyed some benefits typically reserved only for Disney-owned Resort guests.
Guests staying at these seven resorts in 2018 have been able to participate in Extra Magic Hours in Disney parks, and have been able to book their FastPass+ attractions 60 days ahead of their vacation (versus 30 days for those staying in non-Disney resorts) — and now these benefits have bene extended through December 31, 2019!
- B Resort & Spa
- Best Western Lake Buena Vista
- DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando
- Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace
- Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista
- Holiday Inn Orlando
- Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista
Guests staying at these seven resorts can link their hotel reservation on MyDisneyExperience.com, or the My Disney Experience app — and with a linked, valid theme park ticket, have the ability to make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to arrival.
The Extra Magic Hours benefit allows guests to experience extra time in at least one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks each day, either before it opens or after it closes.
This is a great opportunity to visit Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios, Pandora in Animal Kingdom, and ride select attractions with shorter lines.
Other benefits of staying at Disney Springs area resorts include: the ability to purchase Walt Disney World theme park tickets at hotel websites, Guest Service Desks or hotel Disney Merchandise stores; advance tee times and discounts at all Walt Disney World Resort golf courses; and the ability to book advance dining and dinner show reservations for all restaurants across the Walt Disney World Resort.
Plus, guests are within walking distance of Disney Springs, have easy access to new restaurants like Chicken Guy!, and can easily indulge in milkshakes, bubble waffles, pineapple eclairs and more!
The hotels provide shuttle transportation approximately every 30 minutes to all four Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, two Disney Water Parks, and at night to the Disney Springs area.
As a bonus, hotel guests also receive the “Disney Springs Passport” booklet that features discounts and specials from Disney Springs merchants on entertainment, shopping and dining. Among the coupons featured in the booklet are discounts and special offers at House of Blues Restaurant & Bar, T-REX Café, Rainforest Café at Disney Springs Marketplace, The Polite Pig and STK Orlando.

If staying at one of these hotels, can you purchase the Disney Dining Plan?
Jenn says
Do you have to book for the Disney website to get these benefits or can I book from anywhere and get them?
Tracy says
Thanks for letting us know, DFB team! Do you guys know if we’re able to get free MagicBands if we stay in one of these hotels?
DFB Sarah says
Tracy, guests at the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels do not receive free MagicBands. You’d have to purchase them (which you can do ahead of time on ShopDisney) or when you arrive on property.
DFB Sarah says
Jenn, that’s a great question. You can book these hotels on any Web site and receive the benefits. They are incumbent in your stay, not dependent on a particular booking site.
DFB Sarah says
Virginia, no, you can not.

Personally hate this and every DVC member should be irate. To allow non-Disney customers get access to fp at 60 days and extra magic hours and take rides slots and add to extra magic hour crowds is a disgrace! What, only Magical express and access DDP aren’t accessible? Besides close proximity, people pay $900 at GF and get no discernible advantage to the rides and exclusivity of extra magic hours being strictly for Disney property guests for which they and all other resort guests pay a premium for. I guess the million$ these hotels are paying Disney for this access is outweighing the people’s extreme displeasure of their decision!
