The dates have been announced for the 2019 Epcot Festival of the Arts! The celebration of Culinary, Visual, and Performing Arts will take place January 18 – February 25, 2019!
The 2019 Epcot Festival of the Arts will once again run 7 days a week and will feature the Food Studios (food booths similar to the Marketplace Booths at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival), the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, and more!
Food Studios
The Festival of the Arts features Food Studios located around Epcot’s World Showcase! Much like the Marketplace Booths for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, the Food Studios bring enhanced food offerings to Festival guests.
Unique to the Festival of the Arts is a focus on presentation of the dishes.
Many of the items are their own works of art!

Disney on Broadway Concert Series
The Disney on Broadway Concert Series is expanding to seven days a week in 2019!
The performances will take place at 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8:00 PM nightly throughout the Festival.
We expect that Disney on Broadway Dining Packages will once again be available to pair breakfast, lunch or dinner (either a three-course meal or full buffet with non-alcoholic beverage, based on location) at a participating Epcot restaurant with guaranteed priority seating for an evening show on the same date.
Performers for the concert series have not yet been announced.

Visual Arts
The Epcot Festival of the Arts also celebrates the Visual Arts with Exhibits, Seminars, and hands-on experiences, along with a few more artistic touches along the way!
Pavilions around Epcot showcase displays and galleries reflecting various themes. Guests will also have the chance to enjoy interactive and hands-on workshops throughout the Festival.

Dang it !!! We work so hard to plan a trip when it’s going to be less crowded with nothing much going on and they do this…

I agree! We have worked painstakingly to arrange this trip with our young kids and this festival thing is stressing me out. Does this mean I have to fight with a bunch of adults so my kids can meet Elsa and ride the rides we want to get to? I feel like it does and the kids are going to be so disappointed. My husband isn’t going to be frustrated and impatient and I’m going to be stressed trying to keep everyone from having breakdowns. I feel sick about it.

Michelle, Festival of the Arts may increase crowd levels a bit, but in the past it hasn’t been as dramatic as Food and Wine, which draws massive crowds, typically. Here’s the link to our Festival of the Arts page, where we post not only information about the Festival but also tips for enjoying Epcot during the Festival. I hope this helps!

I’ve reconciled to the fact that there will never be a “down time” to Disney World anymore especially with new attractions coming. Prioritize what you’d really enjoy doing . Anything else you can do, will be sweet extra.

Festival of the arts is really cool and does not have the same impact on crowds as food and wine. If anything, festival of the arts just makes the park more fun. Most of the adults don’t bother with the rides and characters anyways. Frozen will always have a line but it’s never as long a short the posted wait time. We take our kids to festival of the arts, but only my wife and I will go to food and wine.

Looking forward to visit Epcot’s Festival of the Arts. This will be the first time in many visits that we won’t have the kids with us.
