2019 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
In addition to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening in late 2019, we’ll welcome Lightning McQueen and Cruz Ramirez via Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy in Spring 2019 (Cruz may even have her own meet and greet!), Mickey and Minnie barrel in on Mickey’s Runaway Railway, and even more characters will join in the fun at the studios!
Incredibles fans are sure to be delighted in January 2019 as Pixar Place becomes a city block in Municiberg, home to the super family.
Meet Edna Mode, search for Jack-Jack, and enjoy a party at the end of the block celebrating the Incredibles’ and Frozone’s accomplishments.
Inside Walt Disney Presents, Mike and Sulley of Monsters Inc. fame will be conducting a meet and greet all their own! There may even be a special door (natch!) to go through to get there!
We’re SUPER (get it) excited to welcome in 2019 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Stay tuned for more info as it comes!

With DHS being as crazy as it is right now with Toy Story Land, these additions would be a nice touch to alleviate the crowds in certain parts of the parks! I understand it’s really going to be a madhouse once Star Wars Land opens, but now seems like a great time for this.
