We’ve had an extra-colorful year thanks to Disney with Rose Gold, Millennial Pink, and Iridescent treats. And this weekend only, Disneyland Resort will be serving up Rainbow treats to catch every color!
You’ve got to get over to the parks this weekend to try (and Instagram) some of these treats!
Rainbow Cookie
This Rainbow Cookie makes us smile! It’s a sugar cookie topped with icing, then a rainbow drizzle pattern — and, of course, a smiling Mickey Mouse.
You’ll be able to find these in both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Disneyland’s locations are Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, Plaza Inn, Market House, Coffee Cart near Central Plaza, Alien Pizza Planet, Galactic Grill, and Hungry Bear Restaurant. At Disney California Adventure, the cookies will be at Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Café, Pacific Wharf Café, Corn Dog Castle, and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta.
Rainbow Krispie Treat
The World of Color Crispy Treat is a classic Mickey shape topped with icing and decorated with colored sugar.
You’ll find it at all of the candy shops across property – Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney, Candy Palace and Pooh Corner in Disneyland, as well as Trolley Treats and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff at California Adventure.
Rainbow Cake
This might look like any ordinary cake — until you dig in and discover that it’s a rainbow cake! The rainbow is made up of layers of white chocolate mousse and red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple cake topped with buttercream frosting, rainbow sprinkles, and a Chocolate Mickey on each slice!
This will be at the Plaza Inn at Disneyland and Pacific Wharf Café, Flo’s V8 Café, and Paradise Garden Grill in Disney California Adventure.
Rainbow Shake, Funnel Cake Fries, and Ice Cream
The Rainbow Rock Shake with rainbow cereal and whipped cream will be at Disney California Adventure’s Schmoozies. Schmoozies’ neighbor, Award Weiners, will be serving up Rainbow Funnel Cake Fries topped with Condensed Milk and Rainbow Cereal. Over at the Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land you can get rainbow cereal on top of your soft-serve cone.
Rainbow Ice Cream Sandwich Cookies
Sticking with ice cream, Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream in California Adventure will be offering a Rainbow Sprinkles Cone or a Rainbow Ice Cream Sandwich — two cookies filled with vanilla ice cream, dipped in chocolate, and rolled in rainbow sprinkles.
Count us in!
Rainbow Drinks
Hollywood Lounge will be offering a Fabulous Freeze — a rum runner topped with whipped cream and sour candy. And at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, you can find a specialty beverage at PCH Grill, Surfside Lounge, and The Sand Bar. This specialty drink is made with grenadine, Blue Curacao, coconut rum, white rum, piña colada mix, and coconut water.
Speaking of drinks, this Rainbow Tumbler will be at a variety of quick service restaurants, carts, and kiosks throughout the resort with either your choice of fountain beverage or a flavored slushy.
Rainbow Merch and Souvenirs
If it’s merch and souvenirs you’re after (in addition to sweet treats!) be sure to look for the 2018 Rainbow Disneyland shirt. Plus the Mickey Mouse Rainbow Ears or the Minnie Mouse Rainbow Headband, Mickey Mouse Rainbow Pin, and Rainbow Lanyard Medal will be available at various merchandise locations throughout the resort.
Remember — these treats are only available October 5-7, 2018 during Gay Days at Disneyland Resort and the merchandise is available while supplies last!
In addition to all of these treats the Halloweentime special food, treats, and drinks are also available! This is a great time to go to Disneyland!

I wish some of the merchandise was sold online – obviously not the food… but on further thought I would love a Disney Snack delivery service!
