If you keep up with our What’s New in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs posts, you’ve probably noticed that The Ganachery in the shopping, dining, and entertainment district often crafts incredible chocolate pinatas for holidays, special events, and World-wide trends.
They gave Minnie Mouse the millennial pink treatment a couple months ago when practically everything in Walt Disney World was tinted that signature color.
And in June, they painted the pinata with the colors of the rainbow for Pride Month. We love those colorful ears!
But if you’re like us, you were jonesing to see what is inside that delicious, edible pinata! Thanks to our Insta-pal @havediaperswilltravel, now we can! And this pinata is verrrrrrry excited that it’s Halloween because it is the Pumpkin King himself: Jack Skellington! His head is the spherical pinata shape and is surrounded by crispy chocolate pearls on a circular tray.
Notice the The Ganachery wooden mallet, which you get to keep. (We’ve noticed, too, that when a pinata comes without a mallet, the price drops from $25 to $22, so if you want it or not, don’t be afraid to ask!)
Once you’ve broken the pinata, inside are five hand-made vanilla bean marshmallows coated in chocolate. These are a delicious and gourmet treat, so it’s a fun find! (Note that sometimes the chocolate crispy pearls are on the inside of the pinata (rather than the outside), which would make for a wild (and messy) discovery!)
Pinatas are fun no matter where you find them, but an edible pinata filled with gourmet treats is, like, next level pinata-ness. Much gratitude to @havediaperswilltravel for sharing!
