in Disneyland’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is changing up its menu for lunch and dinner starting this week!
Beginning October 10, the a la carte options for lunch and dinner will no longer be available, making room for a buffet brunch and buffet dinner instead.
Storytellers Cafe is home to the new Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet — and this will still be available for breakfast. Starting October 10, guests at lunch will enjoy Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Brunch Buffet complete with characters!

The breakfast and brunch buffet will be served from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM each day, while the dinner buffet will be served from 4:30 PM until 11:00 PM. Characters will not be part of the dinner buffet.

What do you think about Storytellers Cafe going to an all-buffet restaurant? Let us know in the comments.
Nadine says
With Storytellers Cafe going to only Buffet, what will people with special dietary needs, like Gluten Free, etc. be able to eat?
Jim says
So, this leaves us with no lunch A la Carte, sit-down options at the most expensive hotel on Disneyland property. And the only dinner A la Carte option will be the Napa Rose, with its limited, expensive menu. Our years of staying at the Grand Californian have become not-so-grand. SHAME!
Julie says
We were extremely disappointed to hear you can not eat lunch A la carte. Myself and other family members are celiac and ate all our lunches at Storyteller because the food was great and SAFE for my family, It was the one place we could count on and affordable to eat at every day. Very sad news!!!!!
Christine says
OMG! This is/was the only real good Celiac safe restaurant. I am pissed.
