Disneyland Resort’s hand-dipped corn dogs are the stuff of legends. Disney Food Blog’s Disneyland correspondent, Heather, recently stopped by Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs in Downtown Disney to give them a try. Here’s what she thought!
First thing to know: since each corn dog is hand-dipped and there’s only one person working in this small booth, service can sometimes be a little slow. But it’s worth the wait if you’re a corn dog fanatic.
Heather tried the Golden Dragon, the Classic Dog, and the Hot Link.
The Golden Dragon is a panko encrusted, kosher, all-beef corn dog. This one comes with Sriracha Aioli and Sweet Thai Chili dipping sauces.
All three corn dogs Heather tried were excellent, but the Golden Dragon really stood out!
It wasn’t too spicy, and the panko breadcrumbs added a nice, light crunch. The Sriracha Aioli and Sweet Thai Chili dipping sauces were delicious and went perfectly with the Golden Dragon. Each sauce added a lot of flavor, but just like the corn dog, neither was too spicy.
Each corn dog comes with your choice of a tangerine or a bag of chips. Bottled Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Water are also available.
The Classic Dog is made with a kosher, all-beef hot dog. If you’re craving a corn dog, you can’t go wrong with this one. But check out the SURRIOUS breading here. I mean, you could probably take some of it home for a second meal. YUM!
Traveling with little ones? Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs also offers the Kid Dog, which is a smaller version of the iconic Classic Dog.
The Hot Link is made with a spicy sausage. If you’re looking for a corn dog with a little kick, the Hot Link definitely delivers.
Pro tip from Heather: the tables outside of the old AMC theatre are the perfect spot to sit and eat your Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs!

Which variety of these hand-dipped corn dogs are you most excited to try?
Essie says
I don’t like corndogs because while I like cornbread by itself, I don’t like anything sweet with a hotdog. Is the Panko over corn meal like it’s just an outer coating, Heather, or is all of the breading not sweet?
Marcy says
FYI, the corndogs at Disneyland are now not 100% beef! They have chicken mixed in. Makes me so sad because I’m allergic to chicken! This change was just done recently.
Marlene says
Is the batter of the corn dogs also kosher?
Charise says
Anyone know if they’re gluten free?
Justin says
Corn dogs at Disneyland are not 100% beef! Please update, I’ve verified with a cast member that it’s a mix of chicken and beef.
