Any hints out there about when it will start?
Essie says
I am so over the top excited about this skyliner! I hope it’s wheelchair accessible. I can still walk, but only for short distances, so I’d leave my power chair behind and go for a round trip ride if they’d let me. If not I’ll just go by bus!
DFB Sarah says
Melissa: No new info that we’ve seen! The general consensus seems to be sometime in mid- to late-2019. Hopefully they’ll announce a solid timeline at some point.
Al Y says
Will guests be able to walk from the Skyliner station at Epcot to the Monorail Station?
Mark says
Will skyline only be accessible if you stay in those resorts or can anyone ride them to the parks? Just curious.
DFB Sarah says
Mark, we’ll have to see if ridership is regulated at all when it opens, but my guess would be that the Skyliner will be available to more than just the resort guests.
DFB Sarah says
Al, it looks like guests would have to walk through the park and out the front gate of Epcot to access the Monorail. We’ll have to see how it all works out when it opens, though.
David Vota says
OH YEH!! SUPER STOKED!!!
Beth West says
Will the Skyliner be wheelchair accessible?
DFB Sarah says
Beth, we haven’t heard either way yet.
Jan says
How many people can one gondola hold?
DFB Sarah says
Jan, that’s not been announced yet. We’re watching closely for details!
