Early Morning Magic is an extra-ticketed event that offers guests early morning access to popular lands and attractions in select Disney World parks before the park is open to the general public for the day. Thanks for the review. I took advantage of this in early October — it was a bit more crowded than what you experienced, but I felt it was worth it.
I had a 7 am start and they didn’t open the rides until closer to 7:30, so it made sense to have breakfast beforehand. But you’re right in that there’s no need to rush as the lines are non-existent for the first 90 minutes or so.
Also worth noting that you can have as many breakfasts — and drinks — as you like during the Morning Magic Hours window. I ate, then went and rode, and then went and ate again — something different this time. This may help with people who want to get their money’s worth.
