As November nears, that means we are one month closer to 2019 — and 2019 brings the launch of the Disney Skyliner system! We’ve been keeping you updated on the progress of the stations at Hollywood Studios and Epcot, and Disney teased us with a release of their fun facts video. This weekend we checked in on the progress of the Hollywood Studios Skyliner station as well as changes to the parking lot to accommodate the new car entrance to the park opening November 8th.
They are getting pretty close here! You can see the roof matches the style of the Hollywood Studios entrance gates. Are they even getting the ground ready for some new grass?
You can definitely see this starting to take some real shape and look like the concept art below with the columns and roof shape.
The bus stops for the Disney Buses have been moved and are also being redesigned. The old bus station is completely demo-ed now.
Hollywood Studios New Car Entrance and Parking Update
On November 8 a new car entrance will open for Hollywood Studios.
We can see they are getting ready with some updates to the parking lot. First up, we saw some newly repaved parking areas that look like they are ready to be used, but they were not in use when we were there.
We also spotted some new road signs in the distance that we are guessing are for the new entrance.
The walls are (finally) down in the parking area where a new overpass has been built.
This is the view from the overpass. You can see the car entrance in this photo.
Seeing all of this progress and changes gets us excited for all that is coming to this park in 2019 — especially Star Wars Land Galaxy’s Edge!

The temporary bus stops leave you 1/2 mile from the gate to Hollywood Studios. I hope the new ones will be closer.
