The Tropical Hideaway will open in Disneyland later this year! The exotic marketplace will be nestled between two Adventureland attractions: Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room and the Jungle Cruise.
Disney has promised that “In addition to experiencing delicious tastes from all corners of the world, you’ll also encounter colorful wildlife.” And part of that wildlife will be none other than Rosita from the mobile chorus “in the Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room”!
Striking out on a “solo career,” guests will be able to locate Rosita the cockatoo at the loading dock on the river’s edge. But at The Tropical Hideaway, singing will not be her focus, as she’ll be sharing jokes and one liners that will be well in keeping with the nearby Jungle Cruise Skippers!

I was hoping our friend the Orange BIrd might take up residency at the Tropical Hideaway to delight all of us on the West Coast! But, I’m looking forward to Rosita and the tropical hideaway very much!

Just a general comment, and not sure where to put it. I LOVE DFB, my wife and I find it an amazing source of information. One thing that would help a TON would be to have the date the article was written! Is there a technical issue with having the date at the top or somewhere?
