Hollywood Studios is a changing park these days. In addition to all the work being done for the arrival of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in the Fall of 2019 a new ride is coming to the Chinese Theater, and the former Pixar Place is being transformed into a city block in Municiberg, home of The Incredibles.

The Chinese Theater is being transformed for the new ride, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway coming in 2019.
There was some scaffolding up around the Theater, but that has been removed as well as the signage for the Great Movie Ride that used to be in this building. It also looks like some elements of the the Theater have been removed such as the gold figure in the photo below from last summer.

On your way to Toy Story Land you’ll find the construction walls to the left of this Joffrey’s stand are still up, but a lot of the walls blocking the view of the stand are no longer there.
