Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs
is packed wall-to-wall with terrific places to grab a meal, but sometimes, even with all the new choices, you might want to enjoy an old favorite. For us, Earl of Sandwich has been a consistently tasty spot to pick up a quick service sandwich and sides. And at a recent media event, we were excited to revisit two holiday favorites and a brand new holiday offering!
You know the holiday eats are a big deal with the Earl is in the house — holding his beloved Holiday Turkey Sandwich.
Since this was a holiday event, you’ll want to know how to treat yourself even while buying a little somethin’ for someone else. At Earl of Sandwich this holiday season, if you purchase a $25 gift card, you’ll get a $5 holiday reward card, too!
And the holiday food offerings? They’re even better than a reward card… because you can eat ’em!
First up, the something new this season! The Holiday Ham Sandwich is like holiday party leftovers in sandwich form — which can’t be bad! (Note that back in 2013, Earl also offered a Holiday Ham Sandwich — but this one is different despite the identical name!)
This brand new sandwich comes on the Earl’s signature crispy artisan bread, toasted golden brown.
Inside, you’ll find simple but delicious components that work really well together: sliced ham, cheddar cheese, yams, and cranberry sauce!
The Holiday Ham Sandwich is packed with thinly sliced ham, which is salty and awesome. And the cheddar cheese is a great match for the protein.
The yams are brightly colored and provide a cool visual contrast, plus they — along with the cranberry sauce — add a hint of sweetness and a ton of holiday flavor to the sandwich.
Look, it’s not the prettiest thing you’ll ever see on the inside, but it’s so good. This is an awesome new addition to the holiday menu at Earl of Sandwich!
The second holiday sandwich offering will be a familiar one for many of you: the Holiday Turkey Sandwich!
This baby used to be a holiday season only offering, but it was so popular, Earl added it to the menu permanently! So the good news is, you can celebrate the holidays all year long at Earl of Sandwich! The bad news… there is no bad news. It’s a delicious sandwich, and you can eat it every day of the year. 😉
The Holiday Turkey Sandwich features that same artisan bread, which is a great size and vessel for the components.
We love how it ends up encasing all the interior bits, which means the sandwich stays nice and hot, and the components don’t immediately drop all over the place when you take a bite.
The Holiday Turkey Sandwich really has all the big hitters from Thanksgiving: turkey, cranberry sauce, gravy, and stuffing! The salty/sweet/tart combination is really the best part of this sandwich.
There’s also some mayo on there for a little added creaminess, but if you’re not a big mayonnaise fan, you can request they omit that (or give it a try, since the flavor is not pronounced).
The flavors really combine well, and you get a little of everything in every bite. The Holiday Turkey Sandwich is a classic for a reason!
If you want to sweeten up your holiday at Earl of Sandwich, go for the Peppermint Brownie.
This is a traditional Earl chocolate brownie with a slightly crackly top — and I seriously LOVE these. They’re some of the best brownies in Disney World. But what makes it holiday-ready is the smattering of peppermint bits that are sprinkled across the top.
The peppermint bits are truly crushed peppermints, so there are lots of irregular shapes and various amounts of crunch as a result. But that texture is a great foil for the moist brownie.
The peppermint pieces are only on the brownie, not in it, so if you want to share with someone who’s not big into peppermint, they might be able to pluck some brownie sans peppermint. 🙂 Or just…you know…get a brownie without peppermint? Yeah. We like to help.
That crumbly top is one of our favorite things about a brownie, and this brownie has got it goin’ on!
The Earl has done it again: great holiday offerings that’ll fuel our holiday shopping and Christmas Tree Trail exploring in Disney Springs! And you can get yours from November 5 through December 31!
And west coasters: remember that Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney Anaheim reopened for a “limited” time back in October, so you don’t have to miss out on any of the holiday fun!
Don’t Miss Out on Any Disney World Fun This Holiday Season!

They need to combine the two sandwiches into one called the Holiday Deluxe. The guts of BOTH ham and turkey sandwiches on a toasty roll… OMG how good would that be? I can hardly wait for my next trip to Disney Springs…
