It’s a Flurry of Fun — and Food — in Hollywood Studios! We’ve been all over the park trying the holiday treats. Fairfax Fare’s Flurry of Fun treat is a Strawberry Mint Crème.

Right away we were disappointed to see it was missing its Mickey and Minnie topper which adds the festive feeling to it (we were told the toppers aren’t in yet). Without the topper it kind of looks like a spring-time strawberry shortcake dessert.

The dessert has a base of a few pieces of pound cake in the bottom of the cup, topped with a good amount of marinated strawberries.

The strawberry layer is topped with a peppermint crème, which is then topped with a dollop of cream.

Sadly, as we already mentioned, the cream was not topped with Mickey and Minnie. As for flavor, this is an “interesting” blend of strawberries and peppermint. These are two flavors we wouldn’t think to put together. For us the flavor combo was basically strawberry shortcake topped with toothpaste.
We’ve got to confess, the Egg Nog Panna Cotta wins in a taste off between these two “desserts-in-a-cup”.

I agree with your toothpaste comment, however my husband who is a huge mint fan loved it.
Probably shouldn’t have sold it if it was missing the topper(or at least notified you before ordering).
