Hollywood Studios is a busy park these days!

In addition to the Skyliner coming in 2019, there also is work on the Chinese Theater’s new ride and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge both coming in 2019. PLUS Christmas has arrived — we’ve got Santa Alien Popcorn Buckets, a decorated Toy Story Land, and so much more!  Plus Plus (haha!), the Flurry of Fun holiday events start this week! Check out everything we found!

There’s a #ShareYourEars wall in Hollywood Studios. Snap your picture and post it with the #ShareYourEars hashtag and Disney will donate to Make a Wish Foundation. You’ll find this wall in Animation Courtyard on the way to Toy Story Land. There’s also a #ShareYourEars wall in Magic Kingdom by the Purple Wall. We anticipate seeing walls in Animal Kingdom and Epcot as well.

Santa Alien and Pluto Popcorn Buckets Arrive in Hollywood Studios!

OMG! We found a Santa Alien popcorn bucket in Hollywood Studios!!!  Look at this guy! If this is as popular, and we think it will be, as the Alien popcorn bucket from Toy Story Land’s opening it will be a hard-to-get holiday souvenir. We also spotted the Pluto buckets in the park! Toy Story Land Gets a Christmas Makeover!

We were promised a makeover of Toy Story Land for Christmas, and boy did Disney deliver! We’re talking a GIANT Ham cookie, and the biggest popcorn kernels we’ve ever seen — and more! Check out these pictures of Toy Story Land decorated for Christmas!  

Star Wars: A Galaxy Far Far Away Stage Construction

We’ve been keeping you updated on the progress of the construction and refurbishment going on in the stage area of the Star Wars: A Galaxy Far Far Away stage show.  The area to the right of the Chinese Theater is now complete and they are still working on the area to the left of the Theater.

If you remember, this sidewalk area was completely opened up just last week! Now the sidewalk is brand new!

Towards the Frozen Sing-a-Long area you can see construction is still being done in the area.

We spoke with a cast member about the return of the Star Wars: A Galaxy Far Far Away show, and they were uncertain when the show would return since the Jingle Bell, Jingle JAM show is starting this week. We will keep you posted on the status of the return of the Star Wars: A Galaxy Far Far Away show.

Chinese Theater Construction

A new ride, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, is coming to the Chinese Theater in 2019. The Theater had construction walls and scaffolding up around it until this past weekend. Now the walls and scaffolding are gone! The timing is perfect since the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM show is projected on the Theater and the dessert party for the show has been held in the Theater courtyard in the past. Adrian and Edith’s Reopens — with new Merchandise and Decor

Adrian and Edith’s Embroidery Shop closed for refurbishment in September.

Before the closing it was home to all sorts of Mickey and Minnie Ears and Hats as well as embroidery services for the ears and hats. Now it has reopened as a food merchandise shop. Maybe this is a replacement for Sweet Spells??

An abundance of pre-packaged Goofy’s Candy Co. sweets and Holiday treats are in the store now. Plus, the retro movie posters have been replaced with new decor making us a little sad. Take a look at all of the photos of the new space and merchandise here.

Ralph Breaks the Internet Preview

When you’re on your way to the #ShareYourEars wall in Animation Courtyard you can catch a preview of the new movie Ralph Breaks the Internet in the Walt Disney Presents theater. 

This movie comes out on November 21. We can’t wait to see what Ralph does to the Internet, plus we’ll see some new versions of popular Disney characters and princesses in the movie!

ABC Commissary Gets a Queue

If you’ve ever walked in the ABC Commissary when it is super crowded you’ll be happy to see this addition! A queue system has been set up, which we are hoping will help alleviate crowd issues when you first walk in this location.

New Must-Have Merchandise Arrives in the 5&10

After checking out Adrian and Edith’s makeover we wandered through the 5&10 and were rewarded by finding some new must-have, too-cute merchandise! There are new collections of sticky notes and mix and match magnet sets! The sets include Disney snacks, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and more! You’ve got to see the entire collection and start your shopping list now!
