Hey, there! We’re back with another DFB Video today, and we’re talking about our favorite (and least favorite) Epcot Quick Service spots!
There is no shortage of terrific food options in Epcot thanks to the wide range of cuisines represented in the park’s World Showcase (and even in Future World). So how on earth do you go about narrowing them down to the ones you’d like to visit? Well, that’s where this list comes in… we’re sharing our favorite (and least favorite) Counter Service food locations in Epcot to help you make your choice. (And if you already have some favorites of your own, we’d love to hear about those, too!)
And if you love this video, there’s plenty more for you to enjoy over on our DFB YouTube Channel!

My son got very excited when he saw this video, because in less than a week, he’ll be able to get his favorite orange chicken at Lotus Blossom. While I agree it is not gourmet, we actually find the sauce on the orange chicken nicer, less sweet and cloying that what we often encounter at home (and we have at least a dozen Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Asian fusion restaurants within 10 minutes of our house). They serve quickly, the food has always been appropriately hot, some platters are big enough to split (vegetable curry with chicken defeated my husband and our son had to help out), and on cold days they have hot tea. Yorkshire Fish has become a must-stop, but we also love the bakery in France and Tangierine Cafe. If only we could find a way to have four or five meals a day in Epcot!

Sandra G., that’s how I feel, too!

My family and I absolutely love the Tangerine Cafe!! We tried the shawarma platter there for the first time after the first Avengers came out (Fellow Marvel geeks will know what I’m talking about!!!) and it is now our favorite thing to get at Epcot!! Also Kringla Bakery is a must do because the school bread is legendary!!

Great video!! I agree with your assessment. I absolutely love Tangierine Cafe because of their items that you pretty much can’t get anywhere else on property (aside from Marrakesh). That vegetarian platter is tops. And I LOVE anything that Germany sells, especially the nudle gratin, but also the potato salad (I feel like I’m alone in this!). I’m obsessed with the almond frangipane, cherry pastry, chocolate mousse, baguette, cheese, everything at Les Halles. Also, sometimes I just walk over and stare at the bakery counter at Sunshine Seasons after riding Soarin’ (usually ending up with the caramel brownie, maracoon, or Mickey whoopie pie). I don’t have that undying love for Norway’s school bread, but I do enjoy the wide, unique variety of offerings at Kringla. And I’ve actually NEVER eaten at Liberty Inn or Katsura Grill, but I think I might skip these, despite my love of Japanese food… Anyway, thanks for the great overview!

Obviously this is all a matter of opinion, but I’m surprised you don’t recommend Katsura. It’s our favorite Epcot place by far. The chicken cutlet curry in particular is super tasty and a really good portion, and I find it a good approximation of katsu curry I’ve had at Japanese restaurants. Tangierine used to be our go-to until we tried Katsura.
