We have a change to report to the list of celebrity narrators for the Candlelight Processional at the 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. The Candlelight Processional is a popular event where the Christmas story is told by a celebrity narrator while a 50-piece orchestra and choir accompany the re-telling.
Originally, Edward James Olmos was the scheduled celebrity narrator for the dates of December 24-25th. However, Joey Fatone will now be the celebrity narrator for December 24-25th. You can find the full list of celebrity narrators on our Candlelight Processional page.
Guests wishing to reserve guaranteed seating for the Candlelight Processional paired with breakfast, lunch, or dinner at a participating Epcot restaurant may find more information about Candlelight Processional Dining Packages here.

I think it’s really awful that Disney seems to have the microphone of the guest narrator adjusted in such a way so people not in the arena can not hear the processional narrator. I assume this is to force as many as possible to purchase their “dining packages”. Nice holiday spirit!
If you have young children you may choose (and be kind to other guests) to stand on the outside to hear the inspirational program. Also there are guests who simply can’t afford the additional money to purchase a package. Guests shouldn’t be forced to spend extended time in a standby line that in no way secures a seat for the performance.
