It’s no secret we love our pretzels here at Disney Food Blog. Is it the bready dough, the salt, or the plastic cheese we love most? We’ll never tell (yes we will. plastic cheese.).
But, our latest trip to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom had us in pretzel overdrive with not one, not two, not three, but four (yes four!) pretzel updates! We’ll start with the cutest update which is this new set of couples t-shirts.
There’s always a sweet one and a salty one in any relationship right? Which shirt will you be wearing on your next visit to the parks?
Over in Tomorrowland at The Lunching Pad we spotted the removal of the Infinity Pretzel/Pretzel Mask that was introduced here in the summer for the Incredible Summer events and stuck around — it was even in the park last week! However, we don’t bring all bad pretzel news about this location, because….drumroll…the Cream Cheese Pretzels are back in this location! (Previously, we’d seen the Cream Cheese Pretzel do a stint at Cheshire Cafe, but don’t worry — we have updates from there as well.)
If you like your pretzel Mickey-shaped you can get that here too along with our beloved plastic cheese.
If you’re in Fanstasyland and get a pretzel craving stop over at the Cheshire Cafe, which is now offering the Pepper Jack Pretzel. As I said, the last time we were here they had the Cream Cheese Pretzel, so be aware they may be switching pretzels around at this location. We’ll keep you posted as we visit the park on which pretzel we see being offered here.
Which pretzel is your favorite? Mickey-shaped with plastic cheese, Cream Cheese, or Pepper Jack? Let us know in the comments below!

I remember having a jalapeno cheese pretzel at Disneyland and California Adventure. Does that one ever show up in WDW? I keep looking out for it, but never see it.
DFB Sarah says
Dars, we find the Pepper Jack Pretzel at The Lunching Pad and Tortuga Tavern (seasonally) in Magic Kingdom. (It rotates on and off the menu at Lunching Pad, however, so that’s subject to change.)
Matthew says
Is the salty shirt mens cut and the sweet shirt ladies cut or are both cuts offered? I really hate how Disney offers so much stuff that’s gendered when there’s no reason for it to be. Like the Carnivore/Vegetarian t-shirts in Dinoland. I would have loved to get the purple vegetarian t-shirt with the sauropod on it but it’s ladies cut only. Same with me and my gf, she prefers savory and salty a lot more than me.
DFB Sarah says
Matthew, our team members found the salt and sweet shirts were unisex. 🙂
Rachel says
Trying to plan my pretzel snacks for our trip in two weeks and can’t seem to pin the cream cheese and pepperjack location down haha I guess I will have to be on the look out at Cheshire and Lunching Pad! Online Lunching Pad menus still just say pepperjack
DFB Sarah says
Rachel, yeah, those pretzels move around from time to time. I checked with our team member who was in the parks recently. She says that presently, Pepperjack is at Tortuga Tavern, and Cream Cheese is at Lunching Pad. Cheshire only had them occasionally on really high attendance days. Hope this helps, and have a fantastic trip!!
Bryson says
Just confirmed that Pepper jack are currently at Tortuga Tavern. Haven’t found them anywhere else yet.
Emily says
Can you buy the shirts online or just in the park?!
DFB Sarah says
Emily, I haven’t seen them on ShopDisney, but you may have luck with other sellers.
