What’s for dinner?
You probably hear that question every day and never thought about the importance it might have when choosing a Disney Resort.
But, when deciding where to stay at Walt Disney World, be sure to consider what’s on the menu at your resort along with the nightly room rate, room size, bedding, transportation to the parks, amenities, view, and location.
Choosing your Walt Disney World resort is a practical, emotional, and sensory decision. Each resort has a unique theme created by sound, smell, textures, colors, landscaping, architecture, and flavors.
And when you’re planning a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you should think about what dining options are available for you and your family. The menus at the Quick Service and Table Service restaurants evoke each resort’s theme. A good planning tip is that you should peruse the resort menus before choosing your Disney accommodations.
Our friends at Small World Vacations will gladly share their firsthand knowledge of the Disney Restaurants and Resorts with you. If you haven’t considered a travel agent for your vacation, read about whether it makes sense for you to use a travel agent here!
Let’s check out what type of dining options are available!
Dining at Disney’s Value Resorts
The Quick Service dining locations at the Value Resorts offer a wide variety of choices. The Landscape of Flavors food court at Art of Animation features American dishes along with some more exotic flavors from around the world, while the food courts at Pop Century and the All Star Resorts showcase classic dishes like Burgers, Pasta, and Pizza.
The All Star Resorts have also recently added some great specialty cupcakes, Edible Cookie Dough, and there’s even a secret menu at All Star Movies!
There’s something for everyone at the Value Resort food courts!

The Riverside Mill Food Court and Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Port Orleans Riverside are serving up American and Cajun flavors, and next door at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Port Orleans French Quarter you’ll find a menu full of New Orleans classics including Jambalaya and (Mickey) Beignets!
If you’re making plans to stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort you can enjoy flavors from the islands at Sebastian’s Bistro and Centertown Market!
Coronado Springs dining options include El Mercado de Coronado, Maya Grill, Rix Sports Bar and Grill – and in 2019, Villa del Lago and Toledo – Tapas, Steaks, and Seafood will open. And if you’re staying at Fort Wilderness you can enjoy Trail’s End Restaurant, Meadows Snack Bar, and of course the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.
Dining at the Disney Deluxe Resorts and Villas
The dining options at the Deluxe Resorts and Villas are extensive — you’ll find Quick Service locations at each resort in addition to several Table Service restaurants, and Signature Dining locations plus bars and lounges.
And don’t forget the character dining experiences including Chef Mickey’s, 1900 Park Fare, ‘Ohana (at breakfast), Cape May Cafe, Trattoria al Forno (breakfast), and the opening soon Storybook Dining with Snow White!
From African-inspired dishes at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to coastal-inspired cuisine at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, the Deluxe Resorts and Villas are truly dining destinations!
