There are many advantages to staying at the Beach Club Resort in Disney World — one being super easy walking access to Epcot for all the Festivals! But now we’ve found another advantage — a new Premium Coffee Bar!
The new Premium Coffee Bar is located in the Beach Club’s Solarium, which is just off the lobby, outside the Marketplace shop and quick service/grab and go dining location in the resort. In the past, this location has served tea, been a craft space, and more. Now? It’s coffee time.
The Coffee Bar has been open for a few weeks, and is in test mode.
The Solarium offers comfy seating if you’re waiting for your resort room to be ready, waiting for a bus or Minnie Van, or just need a few quiet moments away from crowds.
Currently, at the Coffee Bar you’ll find an assortment of baked goods and espresso-based coffee drinks.Â
The baked goods are in a small serve yourself style case, and offer some variety over and above the baked goods available in the Marketplace.
Coffee drinks are freshly made to order. There’s a limited selection of Ghirardelli syrups available for your drinks. Currently, you can choose from Caramel, Chocolate, or White Chocolate syrups.
We tried out some Lattes along with a Chocolate Twist and Blueberry Scone.
We enjoyed the coffees and baked goods at this location, and also the setting. The baked goods are your standard coffee shop baked goods, and what you’ll find in most pastry windows. It was a pleasant surprise to enjoy a latte at the resort, as we’ve had to walk to the Yacht Club Market at Ale and Compass for our morning lattes in the past. The only thing we missed was some more variety in flavor options for our lattes. If this becomes a permanent location we hope to see more flavor options added for drinks!
The Premium Coffee Bar is open daily from 5:30 am – 12:30 pm.Â

So they stuck a coffeemaker and a cash register in a corner of the Solarium and are calling it a “premium” coffee bar? LOL!

One thing I have always wondered is why isn’t iced coffee more readily available at Disney.

We will be sure to appreciate this added service. We will be home in a few weeks and look forward to using this.?
We are early risers and love the hours.

They did the same at Territory Lounge a few years back, and we enjoyed it. Solid (if unspectacular) coffee and pastries. Only lasted a few months, went away, came back for a few more weeks, and hasn’t been seen again since. Doubt this one lasts, either.

I agree with Carrie – that set up is far from a ‘Premium’ Coffee Bar LOL! I don’t get why they can’t ever do REAL espresso machines and have baristas etc…since they don’t have Starbucks or another chain operating in the hotels (one thing Universal hotels do better!) It would be great to offer a permanent place to get crafted espresso drinks (agree with Tom that the lack of ICED coffee at Disney is odd given it is in FLORIDA and hot outside usually) with a nice cafe vibe to sit in….maybe if this temporary idea proves popular they will invest in that. I hope so! Love Disney Hotels but coffee service is an area that could use some more pixie dust (& frothed milk)!
