Epcot is home to the Festival of the Arts right now
, but that isn’t the only thing going on in this changing park.
In addition to construction work in preparation for Illuminations’ replacement, we found new food, artistic face painting, character art, sakes, and merchandise!
Whats New in Epcot’s Sunshine Seasons
Look what we found in Sunshine Seasons — a favorite from our childhood (OK, and grown up) days — warm chocolate chip cookies and milk!
As a bonus the cup for the milk is dipped in chocolate and has crunchy pearls on it! How perfect will this be as an after dinner snack?
What’s New in Epcot Construction
Epcot is preparing to welcome a new space-themed restaurant between Mission: Space and Test Track in 2020. Construction is moving along, you can see more of a circular shape to the building as construction progresses.
The France pavilion is busy as they prepare to welcome a Ratatouille Ride in 2021 as well as a Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along opening “soon”.
The Meet and Greet location for Belle is still re-located as a result of the construction going on in the pavilion and tables being added near the crepe stand. You’ll find Belle near the clock in the area by the decorative garden in the pavilion to the right of the fountains.
What’s New in World Showcase
When you’re walking around the pavilions be sure to look for new character art that we spotted around the pavilions. This is a fun addition to the pavilions during the Festival of the Arts.
Speaking of Festival of the Arts, there are some very artistic options available during the Festival for face painting. Which one will you choose?
The Cucumber Cooler has made a temporary return to the menu at the Sake Cart in the Japan pavilion. This cooler used to be on the regular menu and disappeared. We’re glad to see it return as a seasonal option.
What’s New in Epcot’s Shops and Stores — New Merchandise
The D-Lish line continues to delight us! We found a Dole Whip Float Tumbler in Mouse Gear, and it even has Hidden Mickeys on it!
What a fun way to dream about a park favorite at home! Will you be adding this to your Disney collection?
Last week we found the Class of 2019 Mickey Ears Headband, now we found the Class of 2019 Mickey Ears Hat!
There’s a new set of 2019-dated Minnie Mouse ears complete with a pink bow.
The bow features classic parks art including a train, the Partners statue, Maleficent, a pirate ship, and more!
Figment Fans — this is just for you! There’s a phone case featuring Figment in Mouse Gear!

Love, love, love these update blogs! Also, I think the Figment phone case is so cute, but since I don’t own a smartphone, that’s kind of irrelevant. I’m so excited for Remy’s ride!
